You might have seen earlier that Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu took the lead in the men's single skating short programme.

He was showered with Winnie the Pooh's by appreciative fans immediately after.

Apparently, as a youngster, Hanyu had a lucky Winnie the Pooh tissue box cover, which he left on the side as a good luck charm.

His teddy has it's own Twitter account, if you'd like to follow it...

The excitement in the camp is on cloud nine, but the girls just need to focus on the race.

Up at the track it is really cold. The ice will be hard and cold. They just need to make sure they have the right settings and have their runners set up to give them enough grip.

They both know they are good enough to bring home a medal.

I know you're all here for the curling - the good news is there's some just around the corner.

Great Britain's men play European champions Sweden when the matches get under way at 11:05 GMT.

Lizzy Yarnold and Laura Deas begin their Games at 11:20, when they compete in the skeleton.

There's also speed skating at 11:00 and freestyle skiing. Basically, there's loads of stuff to help you procrastinate at work, which is what I'm here for.

Dom's medal today will make the team really confident. They are all in a good place.

Lizzy Yarnold is the defending champion, she wants that next gold.

Laura Deas is the underdog that we are only just talking about. She has an incredible start time, which is important on this track.

  7. Who is Dom Parsons?published at 09:50 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2018

    Caroline Chapman
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

Dom Parsons is a self-confessed speed-geek and is nicknamed 'the wizard'.

Parsons not only knows how to race on a sled but he makes them, too. He's been working on a PhD in mechanical engineering since 2013 at the University of Bath and has helped design the skeleton equipment.

Parsons is also a big Formula 1 fan and, if he wasn't a slider, he says being an F1 driver would be his dream job and his hero is Ayrton Senna.

There's a few minutes left in the ice hockey, with the OAR's dominance all but complete.

The medal ceremonies get going at about 10:00 GMT - by my rough maths, Dom Parsons should get his bronze at about 11:10.

He's already got a teddy, though...

  18. Beer producer 'donates' sled to Jamaicapublished at 09:19 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February 2018

    Nick Hope
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

The Jamaica women's bobsleigh team are expected to compete at Pyeongchang 2018 in a sled "donated" by a beer producer.

The participation of Jamaica's first women's Winter Olympic bobsleigh team was under threat following the departure of coach Sandra Kiriasis.

The former Olympic champion said she used her contacts to secure their previous sled and was "legally responsible" for its use.

A Jamaica Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (JBSF) spokeswomen said it was "donated" by one of Jamaica's most popular beer producers, Red Stripe.

I loved Pita's comments yesterday about his race, and about his own expectations for the event:

"I am not going to win, I had 12 weeks. The miracle was to get here. I do it because there are people who are inspired by this story.

"Publicly, I show all my failings as well - I don't just put on this image of a perfect life.

"People are scared to fail, scared of criticism, scared of what their mum or dad will say about stuff and then they don't do anything."
