I’ve tracked down the Atkin family and they are out in force supporting Izzy.

There’s mum Winnie, dad Mike, sister Zoe and auntie and uncle Jane and David.

Mike told me. “Since she was a little girl entering competitions she always seem to fall on her first run - putting so much pressure on herself and us.

But she then always pulled it out of the bag like she did in the second run today.

“We’re so pleased she’s in the final and she’s got three runs to show what she can do.”

Mum Winnie added: “We’re just so proud of her. I can’t believe she’s a Winter Olympian!”

    Women's super G

    Matt Chilton
    Commentator on BBC TV

It's Lindsey Vonn's turn to bring on the style and try to bring a medal to the US fans.

A huge mistake within sight of the finishing line could cut her chances of a medal though. It was going so well but then she went off into the soft snow at the side of the track and almost ground to a halt.

    Women's super G

Lindsey Vonn is shaking her head. A mistake towards the end of her run sent her way off course. A time of 1.21.49 probably won't be good enough for a medal.

    Men's single free skating

Even if he doesn't win a medal, German Paul Fentz is winning the Olympics. His routine is being performed to Game of Thrones style music and costume. There's a rumour that some dragons are involved in the finale, but we might have to wait a while for them to arrive.

Britain defeat Denmarkpublished at 02:40 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    Denmark 6-7 Great Britain

There's British success all over Pyeongchang at the moment.

As soon as Atkin and Summerhayes reach the final of the slopestyle, Eve Muirhead's rink wrap up victory over Denmark. That was gritty stuff, especially after an iffy first half of the match.

GB have three wins from four matches and are in decent shape for a place in the final. They meet hosts South Korea later today.

Much more difficult than her first effort, too.

That should be an improvement on her score and a climb up the leaderboard.
