I’ve just been to visit British duo Nick Buckland and Penny Coomes, who compete in the ice dancing on Monday and Tuesday.

As I left the coffee shop we were frequenting, I was stopped by a Korean man.

“Is Elise Christie in there?” he asked. I said no. He looked dejected and walked off without the selfie/autograph he was hoping for.

Proof (if you needed it) that the British short track medal hope is a big, big star over here in South Korea.

Four-time Olympic curler on BBC TV

GB are stringing a lot of shots together now so that is good.

That was a good end because they forced the one from Denmark.

A save there for Denmark but a good opportunity for GB now in this end with the hammer.

Almost a huge error by the Danes, their final stone very, very nearly overcooked. They manage to deny the three British bricks that are waiting, but one point from their hammer isn't a great return. Britain lead with three ends to go.

The house isn't well-populated deep in the seventh end. One red stone, three British yellow bricks. Anna Sloan, wide-eyed, peers down the ice and uses her broom to guide Eve Muirhead. The centre will be open when the final two stones get thrown...

Unsurprisingly hardly any media presence this morning, but of those who are around several appear to be from Japanese press groups.

And I’m pretty sure they’re after a chat with the increasingly illusive Jamaicans.

After backing out of a deal to use a Japanese sled at the Games they then apparently lost the rights to use their new sled after their coach - who held the rights - left earlier in the week.

The now claim that a beer company has “gifted” them a sled for the Games.

They’re training for the first time on the track soon - Canada up first...

    Women's slopestyle qualifiers

The end of the first run of the qualifiers. Katie Summerhayes, in sixth, can feel pretty relaxed about making the top 12 and reaching the final.

Izzy Atkin has work to do.

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

It's a much better situation for GB. Eve Muirhead with a straightforward shot to get the two to win the sixth end.

GB just need to concentrate, they've got the lead now. They can't make any more mistakes.

Britain lead againpublished at 01:46 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

Better from Great Britain. Two points in the sixth end already suggests they can put in a better second half. It the match continues to plan, they should have the hammer in the 10th and final end, too.

Outstanding from the Danish skip. Trick-shot stuff. Two British stones removed. Muirhead should still pick up two, but it could have been more had the Danes not pulled that out of the bag.

Britain have a decent chance here. There is a lone red soldier in the centre of the house, but GB have two chances to join the pair of yellow outliers on the edge of the Mod-style target. It could be a three-pointer for Muirhead's rink.

Back under way in this round-robin contest that is tighter than a sumo wrestler's belt. Britain, Eve Muirhead in particular, will be looking for an improvement on their first-half showing. The Danes have the advantage of the hammer and have two stones in the house.

    Women's slopestyle qualifiers

    Ed Leigh
    Snowboarding commentator on BBC TV

It was very simple from Katie Summerhayes but it is a score on the board. It gives her something to build on for run two.

That is how you ski strategically when no one else is putting a score in.

A wave to the camera, Katie Summerhayes looking pretty pleased with life.

    She should be, too.

The world championship silver medalist goes third and can be pretty confident that she has already done enough for a place in the final.

It's not the most difficult run, but it should be enough for a place in the final.
