This Swedish team have been millimetre perfect and that's been the difference in this match so far.

The little delicate taps that GB need are just missing by a small margin.

They're still in the game, they just need to get a two back and they're right back in it.

For Woodsy to come so close and to know that in that third and final run, if he had made the most of that final rail feature, I think it would have pushed him up.

It will be tough to take but he showed the best of his skiing.

Even in the last 18 months, the level of slopestyle skiing has gone through the roof. Some of the lines through the rails were nothing short of mindblowing. It's wizardry.

  6. 'I'm incredibly proud of myself'published at 05:48 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2018

Speaking to BBC Sport's Nick Hope: "I’m incredibly proud of myself and the skiing from all of the competitors. This realm is something. I believed I could win this thing but you have to be perfect and I was a little bit off.

"It’s devastating to miss out on a medal but the skiing was great and I have no shame in saying that I went for a run that I thought could win this.

"I took a big hit on the big one - I’m proud I picked it up after that first run but you have to be perfect.

"That’s what happens. Having a good time is incredibly important and the main point of being here by sometimes you want to lay it all down and show what you can do so I’ll be disappointed."

They really did freestyle justice today.

It's heartbreaking to see James come so close, but skiing won today. What a breathtakingly, magnificent, beautiful sport.

It's just incredible what these guys are able to do. The consistency levels are ridiculous. That was another amazing freestyle event.

Mark Shaw: Gutted. The dreaded 4th place.

James Stevenson: Gutted. The nervous wait is over. It won’t be a bronze medal for James Woods. Most consistent performer with two 90+ scores but it won’t be good enough for an Olympic medal. Brilliant work. Hard luck.
