All tied after eight ends, then.

The official has also just popped over to tell off Kyle Smith for slamming his brush. Looked a bit like a dad trying to make his son do the cleaning.

    Curling: Great Britain 5-5 Italy

Ooft! A furious slam of the brush from Kyle Smith - he's not happy as he clips the Italy guard, which knocks GB's final stone out of play.

It ends up being a simple draw for two for Italy. Bit disappointing from GB after getting themselves into a decent position.

    Curling: Great Britain 5-3 Italy

    Logan Gray
Former Scottish curler on BBC TV

Oh, that's a big mistake there by the British skip. Every time we get near the finish line of getting away in this match there seems to be a silly shot which bring Italy right back into the game.

It's another gifted opportunity to the Italians.

    Curling: Great Britain 5-3 Italy

The next few matches are very important for GB's men - they're currently one of four teams in fifth place, with the top four advancing to the semi-finals.

Ooh. That's not good from GB. Three yellows in the house to one Italian red, and Smith decides to sacrifice one of his stones to clear Italy's out.

Instead, he knocks out his own stone, leaving Italy's still in play, and sending up a big ol' knockout for Italy...
