    Curling: Great Britain 2-0 Italy

Italy have the hammer for the second end against Great Britain, and the Italian skip uses his advantage to whack a GB stone away from the edge of the house.

    The Brits keep their lead.

    Bobsleigh: Two-man

    John Jackson
Two-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

I can't underestimate how much of a good pilot Bradley Hall is going to be. If he takes this form into the four-man week, they could get a really good result.

“This means the world to me,” double Olympic champion Lizzy Yarnold tells me after receiving her Pyeongchang 2018 gold medal.

“Laura Deas and I were crying an hour ago, it’s so overwhelming!”

“It’s been a crazy journey since Sochi and I need to thank everyone who got me here.”

You can see teams playing games but Bradley Hall has put down the run of his life. He just needs to relax now.

Excellent start from Latvia's Oskars Kiebermanis, who go whizzing round the first few corners in the blink of an eye.

It's a bit skiddy, the back of the sled rocking as they come through the corners, but it's enough to pop them into second place with a time of 49.21.

Nice through turn nine and the chicane for Bradley Hall. There will be some hits there tonight. Gauntlet down though!

Seven riders in, and it's Canada who lead the way by a 0.12 second margin.

Great Britain are in third, with Germany second.

There are two runs today, and then two tomorrow - much like the skeleton was.

Ethan King: Love watching the bobsleigh.

Peter Clay: That interview with the 1964 GB bobsled team may be the most compelling bit of the Olympics I've seen so far.

There are nine events having their medals presented tonight and I must admit it is a conveyor belt with the same rousing music and time on stage for each one as it is tightly controlled. The crowd were particularly excited when Choi Min-jeong of South Korea was presented with her gold medal for winning the 1500m short track last night.

Croatia have an excellent mini high-five pre-race routine.

After four runs, Brad Hall still leads the way.

  14. 'Bradley is a quality driver'published at 11:12 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2018

    Bobsleigh: Two-man

    John Jackson
Two-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

I think, realistically, a top 15 finish, but a top 12 would be a fantastic result. We know the British equipment isn't the best. We've not found the right investment. With the coaches leaving, the links to that equipment also left and we have not had the funding.

The Germans have been very strong but they have been playing games. It is hard to gauge where they are. The Canadians have been quick. It hasn't worked out for the Koreans. It's all up in the air and as we have seen in the previous sliding races, one of the final four have messed up and it's all changed around.

As long as Brad can drive like we know he can - he's a quality driver - if he can use that to his benefit it could put them in a really good place.

You can see how much trouble Joel [Fearon] is having stopping the sled because that was a brilliant first run. It's a new track record.

Great Britain clock 49.37, and Joel Fearon has a real fight on his hands to slow the sled down as they finish.

What a race in prospect tonight. Johannes Thingnes Bo (NOR) & Martin Fourcade(FRA) locked together on one gold each.

Both brilliance and vulnerability from them here in South Korea so far. Who wins tonight?
