“I can’t believe it. I didn’t think I’d make the podium and I was just stoked to make the final," he told BBC Sport
“I just wanted to put a show down and I was worried after the first jump that I wasn’t going to land anything but managed to land my next two jumps and walked away with a medal.”

The tie-break gives Norway the bronze. The French generously congratulate them.
The French have had so many near misses at these Games and they're still without a gold since Turin 2006.
They've won a silver and two bronzes so far in Pyeongchang but it's not what they came for.

Adeline Baud Mugnier edges France back ahead... can Clement Noel clinch bronze? No!
Noel is beaten by Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen (a nightmare of a name for a text commentator is that) and the Norwegian roars with delight.
That's because he's glanced over at the clock and seen that he's done enough to win bronze for his nation.
That's their 38th medal at these Games - a new Winter Olympics record, beating the USA's tally from Vancouver 2010.

Before we find out how the gold and silvers medals are going to be divvied up, someone has got to take home bronze.
Tessa Worley gives France a 1-0 lead, seeing off Norway's Kristin Lysdahl by 0.19 of a second.
The second run is even closer... Norways's Sebastian Foss-Solevaag seeing of France's Alexis Pinturault by just 0.07.
All square at the halfway point...

It's the dream final as the mighty Swiss take on their great rivals Austria in the battle for gold and silver.
What a contest this is turning out to be.

Good fun this. If you haven't seen it then flick on BBC One now. Two skiers go head-to-head on parallel slalom courses, the winner getting the point for their team.
Do you play opponent or course? Or both?
Whatever you do, France know how to do it. They are the world champions in this event and have a good chance of becoming the inaugural Olympic champions, one would think.
The Swiss have other ideas, however. They've nabbed a 3-1 win!

Austria are in the final. Norway will have to go and fight it out for the bronze medal.
Austria are looking for their fourth gold medal of the Alpine programme at these Games, following the two golds for Marcel Hirscher and the one for Matthias Mayer.

Austria are always a threat on the Alpine slope and the're looking in fine form here. After crushing Sweden - who beat them in the World Championship quarter-finals last year - they ease past the Norwegians in a 3-1 win.

We know the identity of our semi-finalists. Austria, after whitewashing the Swedes, face Britain's conquerers Norway, while France take on the Swiss.
Men's four-man bobsleigh
Nick Hope
BBC Sport in Pyeongchang
They’re keeping upbeat and positive but it’s fairly clear that the team of Lamin Deen, Ben Simons, Toby Olubi and Andrew Matthews are well out of the running.
They're currently 17th in the 29-team event after the opening two runs.
“We’re a team who wins and loses together but there’s no denying that today was a bad day,” GB pilot Deen tells me.
Team-mate Andrew Matthews reveals they have had “equipment issues,” - which Deen has apparently told some media concerns a sled of runners being deemed illegal.
He is, however, is still talking up their chances:
“I think to be in and around top 10 tomorrow is possible and then from there anything is possible in the final run.”

Of course, Britain have a double chance of success in this event. Unfortunately Lamin Deen and his crew haven't fared much better...
Men's four-man bobsleigh

Brad Hall put in a strong performance in the two-man competition earlier in the Games but the four-man team are struggling. They're down in 18th place at the halfway stage.
“We’ve been having problems all week and can’t seem to get the right setup at all,” Hall tells me on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Joel Fearon chips in by admitting their slow speeds are a “shock and a surprise.”
“We win together and lose together, but haven’t lost this one yet and tomorrow we’ll keep fighting to improve on where we are,” adds Greg Cackett.

Big mistake from the Norwegian and Dave Ryding takes the win. But Norway have qualified by time so GB are out.
What a fantastic performance from the British quartet. They defeated the Americans and then tied with the mighty Norway, only to be edged out. They can hold their heads high after a memorable performance.

Ryding needs to win - and he needs to win well. Victory will tie up the contest a 2-2 and then go to a time tie-break...
Ryding starts well... he's ahead... Sebastian Foss-Solevaag stutters... Ryding is going to win. But by how much?
Britain fall short by 0.21 seconds. Heartbreak.

Ah. It was going so well. Norway fight back as Laurie Taylor and Charlie Guest lose their duels. Norway lead 2-1 - all down to Dave 'The Rocket' Ryding.

Alex Tilley is first up for the Brits, going head to head with Norway's Kristin Lysdahl. Tilley is a pace behind then fights back to go half a gate in front. Into the second half of the course, can she hang on? Yes!
Britain lead 1-0...
Alpine mixed team event
Great Britain scraped through the opening round by the skin of their teeth, seeing off the United States thanks to a better total time. That was needed to separate the two teams after they were locked at 2-2.
So that means the Brits face Norway in a quarter-final which is just about to kick off...

McKnight, along with the rest of the Great Britain Park and Pipe crew, all congratulate Billy Morgan on his bronze medal.
Not bad for a lad from Southampton who only started snowboarding at the age of 14!
