Curling: Women's bronze medal game GB v Japan

    David Murdoch
Olympic silver medallist curler on BBC TV

GB need to put Japan under pressure today, they need to make shot after shot, and keep the scores coming in. The Japanese team are a happy group, so they won't be easy to beat psychologically, GB just need to keep making the shots.

Eve Muirhead is such a cool, calm and collected player for GB. But Anna Sloan is important too, as she's probably the biggest communicator in the team.

Curling: Women's bronze medal game GB v Japan

    David Murdoch
Olympic silver medallist curler on BBC TV

The hardest part for GB is to pick themselves up for this bronze medal match, when they came here for gold. But I'm sure they'll be ready for today, to come out with some real fire, intensity. They'll really want to go home with something today, after four years of hard work.

Bobsleigh: Men's four-man heats one and two

    Nicola Minichiello
Three-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

There's got to be some in-depth questions asked of the teams. Their starts were okay, they weren't great, but they were OK.

So it seems really crazy their runs were so scrappy and messy. It didn't seem like they got their teams right until the very end, right at the last minute.

Some heads have got to roll I think - why are the men 17th and 18th? They've got one of the best funded programmes in the world, some of the best equipment and some of the best athletes - it's inexplicable - there needs to be a real investigation.

  8. 'GB result unacceptable'published at 10:54 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2018

Bobsleigh: Men's four-man heats one and two

    John Jackson
Two-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

Both teams were confident going into this competition, having picked up podiums in events this year, so to just scrape a top 20 finish is unacceptable really.

After two runs, the GB crews are 17th and 18th.

Speed skating: Ladies' mass start semi-finals from 11:00 GMT

    BBC Red Button

If you prefer the carnage of speed skating compared to the tranquil nature of curling, then you are in luck.

On the BBC Red Button we will have coverage of the ladies' and men's mass start events. The two ladies' semi-finals get going from 11.00 GMT, before the two men's semi-finals from 11:45 GMT.

The ladies' final is then at 12:30 GMT and the men's final starts at 13:00 GMT. Twelve racers go in each semi-final, all at the same time.

We've seen the drama in short-track speed skating with only four racers, so just imagine what will happen with 12. Simon Brotherton and Wilf O'Reilly are the men guiding you through the action.

Billy Morgan is massively respected in the world of snowboarding, all the riders will be so happy for him. I don't think he realises how big a deal it is to win a bronze medal at the Olympics.

Billy Morgan has only done the trick that won him the bronze once before, in Sochi - he hasn't tried it since then. So, he's gone for it here, and it's come off in the biggest way.
