  1. Goodbye!

    Curling

Fittingly we will give the final word to British skip Eve Muirhead.

What an afternoon. Phew. Feels like time for a lie-down - or a party. You choose.

Perhaps you might want to save yourself for the weekend - it's a biggie.

Tomorrow, Great Britain take on Sweden in the men's curling gold-medal match at the slightly later time of 06:45 GMT.

Then on Sunday - or Saturday night if you prefer - the British women also go for curling gold.

See you then! But if you need your curling appetite fulfilling before all that head over to our Winter Olympics page where you can read and watch all of today's excitement from Beijing.

  2. 'After the men's final we will knuckle down'

    Women's curling semi-final: Sweden 11-12 Great Britain

British skip Eve Muirhead on Sunday's final versus Japan and tomorrow's preparation: "We've got tomorrow off so we will definitely take time to celebrate among ourselves tonight and the morning we do what we want to do.

"I don't think we will get practice and then the men are playing in the afternoon so we will be here supporting them.

"From after their game tomorrow that's when we need to knuckle down, get back to a flat ground and know we have one match to go.

"When you get to the final no-one likes going away with a silver medal so believe you me will fight for that gold."

  3. 'I was happy to play final stone'

    Women's curling semi-final: Sweden 11-12 Great Britain

More from British skip Eve Muirhead on the pressure of building up to the final stone: "All the way through the end I was getting times on their guard and speaking to Vicki after she played her peels. I assumed it would be left for me to have a draw. So I was happy.

"But when you don't have to play it it makes it a little but easier. but its such a a team game out there."

  4. Your reaction to Britain's win

  5. 'Never giving up'

    Women's curling semi-final: Sweden 11-12 Great Britain

Team GB women's second Jen Dodds after reaching the final: "The aim of that second end was just to get ourselves back in the game so a three was an absolute bonus.

"We knew it was going to be tough. If you're going to lose a four lose it in the first end and we did but I think that just sums up our team so well.

"Just keeping going and going and never giving up. Such an important part of curling is supporting your team mates."

I have never seen a match like that. My goodness that was going up one minute down the next. Both these teams clutching onto what was going to be getting into the final.

I've said it before, i think this is going to be a re-run of 2002 and Rhona's gold medal. This has got to be written in the stars.

I bet you all these people back home are still jumping up and down with joy. I'm so excited that we're going to get both of our teams in the finals of an Olympics games.
