The Canadians are enjoying themselves...
The athletes are still jigging and dancing on the stadium floor.
An announcement over the tannoy requests the athletes take their seats so the ceremony can continue.
And again. But the stars of the show merrily dance on. France are doing a sort of ring-o-roses thing. Great Britain are posing for a team shot.
Don't keep the nice lady waiting too long guys...
Snowboarding
We're not only bidding China farewell.
During these Olympics we said goodbye to Shaun White as his glittering snowboarding career came to an end.
He could not add to his three gold medals at his fifth Games.

The things you don’t see on TV…
A number of athletes have legged it towards their nation’s flag bearers for a hug and a selfie, chased down by a volunteer who continues to dance while trying to bring them back to the middle.
More and more are doing it though!
Hammy McMillan and I think, Vicky Wright and Eve Muirhead wave their little Union flags as they step out into the Bird's Nest stadium.
It is difficult to see under the hats and masks...

On the Kamila Valieva situation:
It is heart-breaking. Every athlete wants a fair playing field. We also want to protect the health and mental health of athletes. The biggest thing I have learned it remembering athletes are humans. We need to protect our young athletes.
John Hunt
Sliding commentator on BBC TV
Shout out when you catch a glimpse of Bruce!
Great Britain will be led out by silver-medal winning curler Bruce Mouat.
The athletes are heading out into the arena while a pumping, upbeat version of Ode to Joy plays.
A chance to compare team puffa jacket. Like the Kazakhstan effort so far...

I am so torn. I am a mother and she is a child.
Has she chosen this situation she has put herself in? In the same way it is black and white [failed drugs test]. We need to know more.
This can never happen again. We need a fair sporting playing field going forwards.
Figure skating
One of the biggest stories of these Games has been that of figure skater Kamila Valieva.
The 15-year-old began by wowing the world by becoming the first woman to land a quadruple jump at the Olympics but things soon turned to story of controversy that engulfed the Games.
It was announced the Russian had failed a drugs test but she was still allowed to compete in the individual event. It all ended in tears when she tumbled in an error-strewn routine.
Various child dancers have arrived in the Stadium on 12 giant skates inspired by the Chinese zodiac signs.
There is a consistent Chinese flavour throughout the ceremony.

We've had 19 days of tears, cheers and moments to last a lifetime - and now is the time to say farewell.
At the Games' Opening Ceremony, Uyghur cross-country skier Dinigeer Yilamujiang was one of the athletes to lit the flame.
China is accused of widespread human rights abuses against Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang region, including forced sterlisation, forced labour and brutal regimes within "reducation camps" that house up to a million people.
"I think it was a lovely concept," said IOC spokesperson Mark Adams of Yilamujiang's involvement.
China has described allegations of abuse of Uyghurs as "lies".
This is the man who is pulling the strings tonight.
Zhang Yimou, a world-renowned Chinese film director, becomes the first man to oversee opening and closing ceremonies in the same city twice after getting the gig again after the success of 2008.
Every good party need a theme.
And China's organisers have decided that that the open they had for the opening ceremony - the story of a snowflake - is good enough to last for the closing ceremony.
Hopefully the snowflake won't end as muddy roadside slush. That would be a downer.
Right, International Olympic Committee big cheese Thomas Bach is in seat and that is the cue for some young dancers to start twirling on the stadium floor.
Alpine Skiing

It is really important to see it is not all victory. Shiffrin was someone who has so much expectation, loses their cape and we love her for it. She delivered raw honesty in her interviews.
We are all coming out of a pandemic. It is not easy for anyone. For her to say she is here to fight another day was very powerful.
Alpine skiing
One of the biggest names coming into these Olympics was US skier Mikaela Shiffrin.
It did not turn out how she or many others expected, however.
Shiffrin crashed out of three of her best events and did not manage to grab a medal in the others.

As part of our goodie bag, we’ve all been given one of these clappers.
With no cheering allowed to prevent any spread of Covid, this is our alternative.
They make a decent noise.
"I have no idea what came over me. I don’t generally do stuff like that."
American figure skater Nathan Chen on his emotional reaction after his short program routine. He would go on to win gold and become one of the stars of Beijing 2022.

To perform this well with the world watching you, having chosen to move from America and be the pin-up girl for China, is incredible.
