Charles Leclerc will share the front row with the McLaren of Oscar Piastri, while his Ferrari team-mate Carlos Sainz will line up alongside the other papaya car - which is running a special Senna-inspired livery for Monaco - on the second row.

Max Verstappen predicted it would be a tough weekend for Red Bull and the Dutchman had to settle for P6 in qualifying yesterday. George Russell gets the job of starting next to the championship leader in fifth spot.

There were two surprise knockouts in the first part of qualifying on Saturday with Fernando Alonso and Sergio both dumped out in the Q1. Both have been handed a small lifeline, however, after Haas' disqualification. Aston Martin's Alonso moves from 16th to 14th, while the second Red Bull of Perez goes from 18th up to P16.
