Great news for GB's Zac Perzamanos - he's made it into the men's trampoline final as the seventh best qualifier.

Not long to wait until the final, which starts at 18:50.

The scores are wiped for the final so all eight gymnasts are starting from scratch. But this time it's one routine only... pressure.

The top qualifier is defending champion Ivan Litvinovich, who won for Belarus at Tokyo 2020 but is now here as an Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) because of the ban on his country over its support for Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

    Keely Hodgkinson

Earlier this year, BBC Sport challenged a selection of runners to keep up with Keely Hodgkinson's 800m pace on a treadmill.

And you won't be too surprised to hear they found it pretty tough going.

Based on Hodgkinson's then personal best of one minute 55 seconds - a time she has now improved to 1:54.61 - participants had to hang on as the treadmill speed was raised to 25km an hour.

Many struggled to get up to the pace, never mind maintain it, and even Hodgkinson admitted it was a bit of an eye-opener to just how fast she can run.

"How do you do this?!" and "that was horrible" were some of the reactions.

The Briton will be hoping nobody can keep up with her as she goes after her first global gold here in Paris, but first she has a couple of rounds to navigate safely.

    Men's singles - Djokovic 2-1 Musetti*

Lorenzo Musetti had the chance to inflict an early break, but he misses his break point and Novak Djokovic offers no second chances, getting the hold shortly after.

Hard to believe for a man who has 24 Grand Slam singles titles, but Djokovic has never won Olympic gold.

His best result at a Games was back in 2008 at Beijing when he took home the bronze medal.

So, who is the man hoping to stop Novak Djokovic from getting his hands on a gold or silver Olympic medal?

The Italian knows all too well just how good the 24-time Grand Slam champion is.

Musetti fell in the semi-finals of this year's Wimbledon to Djokovic and was also knocked out of the French Open third round by the Serb.

The 22-year-old, who became a father in March, lives for tennis so much he has a tattoo of a racquet on a graph of his own heartbeat on his left arm.

The company which designed the purple Paris 2024 track says it is its fastest yet, a full 2% faster than Tokyo's in 2021.

Beneath the purple lies a rubber track with two layers. The lower level has honeycomb cells, where air absorbs the shock of your foot landing, then pushes out, feeding the energy back as your foot takes off. You can read more on the technology behind it over here.

It now has its first world record, as the USA quartet take a commanding victory, ahead of the brilliantly backed French team who are roared on to a national record performance.
