My word. I don't know whether Chris Kendall called it or it was assigned by a touch judge.

I don't think Elliot Minchella thinks it's a forward pass and from the replay I think he's got an argument.

    Into the old 'arm-wrestle' here.

Hull KR do look threatening from deep, Leigh look to have a razor-sharp left side.

It was their go-to in 2023, and even with out John Asiata this evening they look good.

What do Leigh do? They alter the point of attack to see if they can catch any lazy defenders on the short side.

Hull KR switched off and they took full advantage of it. The little drop off play from Matt Moylan to Lachlan Lam created the space for Kai O'Donnell and that is a very well-worked try from the Leopards.

    Kai O'Donnell, con Matt Moylan

Didn't take long for Leigh to respond.

Matt Moylan's tip-on worked an overlap on the left for Leopards, which the hosts just about got back to cover.

There was still some defensive chaos though, and Kai O'Donnell blasted his way through to touch down and cut the noise.

Moylan nudges the kick over and it's Leigh in front.

Everytime they come forward there's so much push and presence.

Tom Opacic almost barrels down the left but Leigh do well to get numbers in the frame.

The same applies on the right, but this time Niall Evalds can't keep the ball in and Leigh get a scrum inside their 40.

Look at the step from Joe Burgess, it is absolutely sensational, off his right peg, hits fresh air and it's a magnificent individual try.

That's worth the admission money straight away to watch something as good as this from a mighty fine wingman.

Burgess scores first try for Hull KR in the Challenge Cup

Hull KR in front and it comes from a piece of breathtaking line-breakery from Joe Burgess.

The former Salford and Wigan winger picks up the ball inside his own 20, skims before straightening up and blasting through a hole.

Rounds the full-back. Outstanding display of speed and footwork.

Scorch-marks time. Must have borrowed some of that pyro. Like a rocket.

Mikey Lewis put his foot through the kick, but the flags stay down.
