    England 0-62 Australia

An update on England prop Vicky Whitfield after she was carried off on a stretcher earlier.

She's currently on her way to hospital for precautionary checks.

    Fingers crossed she's OK.

  2. try

    Julia Robinson, Tarryn Aiken

Julia Robinson joins Tamika Upton in registering her hat-trick of tries for Australia this evening.

Once again she crashes over the line with ease and England are putting up very little in defence right now.

    Tarryn Aiken adds the extras.

The play through the middle of the field and the timing of the pass was beautiful, but as soon as Tamika Upton received the ball, you could almost write down: 'Try coming.'

  4. try

TRY: England 0-56 Australiapublished at 45 mins

    Tamika Upton, goal Tarryn Aiken

Stunning stuff from Tamika Upton for her fifth try of the evening.

This really is a sobering night for England.

Records could be broken here. Tarryn Aiken adds another two.

    England 0-50 Australia

A reminder that the Australia squad is filled with NRLW stars.

The NRLW is made up of semi-professional and professional players unlike the Women's Super League on our shores, which goes some way to explaining the difference in quality we're currently seeing.

Still time for England to salvage a bit of pride, however.

  6. TRY REVIEWpublished at 44 mins

    England 0-50 Australia

A first try review of the evening as, typically, Australia run in again.

It's not given on the field so up we go to the Bunker.

Jess Sergis is judged to have pushed an England defender in the build-up and the try is correctly chalked off.

Tamika Upton's footwork and balance in that space... it's rare to see that. You just felt she was going to score as soon as she got the ball.

  8. try

TRY: England 0-50 Australiapublished at 03:30 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Tamika Upton, goal Tarryn Aiken

A fourth try of the night for Tamika Upton.

Upton battles her way past three England players who do their best to thwart her efforts but she crashes down with ease. Again.

Tarryn Aiken adds another two points to bring up the Jillaroos' half century.

    England 0-44 Australia

Cronulla Sharks winger on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Unselfish play from Yasmin Clydsdale - she could have gone over herself. Izzy Kelly's been unreal tonight - all her carries have been super-strong.

  10. try

TRY: England 0-44 Australiapublished at 39 mins

    Isabelle Kelly, goal Tarryn Aiken

Isabelle Kelly scores her second try of the night for Australia.

Yasmin Clydsdale picks up the ball deep in England territory and selflessly works the ball wide to Kelly who coolly crosses over.

    Tarryn Aiken kicks the two.

    England 0-38 Australia

Vicky Whitfield is stretchered from the field and play continues.

England win a penalty for high contact in the aftermath of that Sarah Togatuki tackle and they do well to get to within halfway within just a couple of tackles.

  12. Postpublished at 35 mins

    England 0-38 Australia

A stretcher is out and Vicky Whitfield is receiving a fair bit of care from a team of medics.

    Fingers crossed she's okay.

That hit came 11 seconds into the second half.

  13. Postpublished at 35 mins

    England 0-38 Australia

In the mean time, as a buggy comes onto the field while Vicky Whitfield receives treatment, Sarah Togatuki walks to the sidelines.

It would appear her night is over, having already come off for a HIA earlier on.

I think England need to find some more attack. They're not looking too dangerous when they're attacking the line. They really need to Georgia Roche to step up and hopefully then they can get some points.

    England 0-38 Australia

    Oh my word.

Sarah Togatuki - who herself was on the receiving end of a big hit earlier on - collides with St Helens prop Vicky Whitfield straight from the restart.

Whitfield is down receiving treatment. That was a big hit and doesn't look good.

  16. SECOND HALFpublished at 35 mins

    England 0-38 Australia

We're back under way at the Allegiant Stadium.

Australia look pretty fired up on their return to the field. I don't think they'll be easing off on England for this second half.

The players are making their way back out.

Can England work their way back into this game and get some points back on the board?

Or are they in for a nilling at the hands of Australia?

Warrington showed us earlier that you can grab a game by the horns when things are looking bleak.

They looked down and out for much of their game against Wigan - until they dominated the final 20 minutes and restored a bit of pride.

Can England coach Stuart Barrow inspire a similar showing when these two sides return?

Australia are running an absolute clinic here. Tarryn Aiken has been key - she's making all the right choices and setting up all the tries.
