Leigh Leopards' Lachlan Lam told BBC Sport after his side's dominant win:

"I think the game was won in the first half, the boys all turned up and were really physical. We got a pretty big buffer and had to hold on from there."

On a repeat semi-final against Wigan:

"It wasn't our best showing [last season]. We weren't happy with it, we fought really hard last year to get to the finals and gave it up with that performance.

"We've earned the right to go there but they haven't won the competition back-to-back for no reason. We've got to go there and take it to them."

    On his future:

"I'm just enjoying my footy at the moment - it's a blessing, not many people can say they can play under their dad at a high level - we have fun doing it and I don't take it for granted."

    What do you reckon?

Can Leigh pull off an upset and beat their near rivals Wigan?

They have beaten them already this season but this will be knockout rugby and away from home, no less.

Leigh won this in the first 40 but this is a huge step forward for one of the historic powerhouses of rugby league, Wakefield Trinity. Kudos to Powell, the players, staff and owners.

Adrian Lam looking really happy and so he should be.

They stuck to the plan from minute one to minute 80.

Wakefield, what a season they've had, coming up from the Championship last year they were written off at the beginning of the season, they've done themselves proud.

But all the plaudits have to go to the Leopards tonight.

An absolutely brilliant performance - hats off to them.

What a game. What a team.

Wakefield valiantly piled on the defence early on to keep Leigh at bay.

And they had a bright start to the second half which would have turned some heads.

But it was a bridge too far for Daryl Powell's side against an immense Leigh Leopards side.

But in actual fact it's been all over for quite some time.

And they will face a borough derby against Wigan in that semi-final for the second successive season.

The Leigh fans are in fine voice this evening.

And why not? They're headed into the semi-finals in style.

Leigh won't just be happy winning this game and bowing out in the next.

Adrian Lam has the right mentality - he's a winner and he'll be helping create the right environment where they'll be going into the next game with so much confidence.

Caius Faatili knocks on for Wakefield virtually on halfway soon after the restart following that try.

That's the story of Wakefield's night.

He's an absolute specimen Cam Scott - he's got muscles growing on muscles.

    What a great try.

10 minutes to go, we've got enough time!

    They couldn't, could they?

Cameron Scott gallops his way through into what a few minutes ago would have seemed like an unlikely try for Wakefield.

Mason Lino adds a very, very quick conversion.

I've been really impressed with Bailey Hodgson this season.

He's so strong at the back, he's a live-wire and he's got the skillset to come up with special plays as well.

This game feels a bit subdued now, in all honesty.

Just over 10 minutes remain and for all intents and purposes, Leigh are through.

There's an incident that's been put on report in the immediate aftermath of that try and Gaz O'Brien and Mason Lino are spoken to by the referee.

I'm not sure the TV pictures captured what happened.

In terms of the game, it would take something very special indeed for Wakefield to threaten a comeback now.

That's a try of energy that. Wakefield were so tired there they were willing to give away another set of six.

Brilliant work from the two big boys there.

Nothing better than the boys getting together and creating tries!

It's been a tough night for Wakefield, they've come up against a team at their peak. Leigh look hot.

    Game over, surely.

Leigh keep driving forward and Alex Tuitavake turns and grounds the ball right under the sticks.

Gaz O'Brien has the easiest kick in the world and brings up their lead to 26-4.

    Knock-ons everywhere, right now.

Wakefield's Oliver Pratt knocks on just as the visitors had got past halfway.

We're at the hour mark and Leigh look very comfortable indeed.
