Bristol sign Matthew Jones from Dragons & Tovey extends deal

Jones joined Dragons from Worcester Warriors in 2010
Bristol have signed fly-half Matthew Jones from Newport Gwent Dragons for the remainder of the season.
The 27-year-old former Wales international began his career with Ospreys and also spent time with Worcester Warriors.
Jones said: "I'm looking forward to competing in the Championship and challenging for a first-team spot."
Meanwhile 21-year-old winger Jack Tovey has signed an undisclosed extension to his contract at the Memorial Ground.
Tovey, a product of the Bristol academy, has scored 15 tries in 57 appearances since making his debut in November 2009.
He said: "My game has really progressed under the current coaching staff and I'm really enjoying my rugby.
"I grew up in Bristol and I love the city and the supporters - I'm delighted to stay here."
Head coach Liam Middleton added: "His personality and playing ability are suited for our environment.
"Jack's developing into a high quality player, he has become a valuable member of our backline. He is the type of player and character that I'd like to see playing for Bristol next season."
Middleton also praised new signing Jones, who will bolster his fly-half options after Mark Davies's shoulder injury required surgery and an extended lay-off.
"Matthew has top-level experience and the way he plays the game will add value to the type of rugby that Bristol will become known for," he said.
Dragons rugby director Robert Beale added: "We would like to thank Matthew for his contribution at the Dragons and wish him luck for the rest of the season and the future."
