Cornish Pirates completed the double over local rivals Plymouth Albion with a tight 9-5 win at Brickfields.

Former Albion man Kieran Hallett put over three penalties for the Pirates as they built up a nine-point lead.

Albion's Luke Cowan-Dickie got the only try of the game on the hour, but Paul Roberts missed the conversion, as well as three other kicks.

Albion pushed for a second try but could not get the ball in meaningful positions as the Pirates held on.
