Four London Wasps players have been nominated for the Premiership's 2013 LV= Young Player of the Year Award.

Centre Elliott Daly, winger Christian Wade, lock Joe Launchbury and number eight Billy Vunipola have been picked.

Vunipola's brother, England and Saracens prop Mako, and Exeter winger Jack Nowell have also been nominated.

Owen Farrell is the current holder of the title and to qualify all the players must have been aged under 23 on 1 September 2012.

Launchbury and Mako Vunipola, both 22, have each won nine full caps for England, having both made their debuts in November's 54-12 win over Fiji.

Wade, 21, has scored 11 tries for Wasps in the Premiership this season and is on the shortlist for the full Premiership Player of the Year award.

He has yet to make his full England debut but is part of the England Saxons squad, as is Daly and Billy Vunipola.

Nowell, who is an England Under-20 international, has scored five tries for the Chiefs this season, and got his first in the Premiership against London Welsh in February.

The winner will be announced on Wednesday, 22 May.
