Kieran Longbottom: Saracens sign Western Force prop

Longbottom made his Super Rugby debut for Western Force in 2008

Saracens have signed prop forward Kieran Longbottom from Australian Super Rugby side Western Force.

The 28-year-old, who is eligible to play for either Australia or England, has played 54 games for the Force since his debut in 2008.

"We are delighted that Kieran has decided to come to London," Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall said.

"He has shown up consistently well in our scouting reports and he will prove an outstanding addition to the squad."

Longbottom is the third forward signed by Sarries, following Scotland lock Jim Hamilton and Argentina prop Juan Figallo.

They have also recruited England Sevens winger Mike Ellery as they look to go one better than last season when they lost to Northampton Saints in the Premiership final.
