Cornish Pirates wing Luke Jones is likely to miss the rest of the season after being injured in the British and Irish Cup loss to Doncaster.

Guernsey-born Jones, 19, was carried off in the first minute of the match.

"Luke has potentially broken his leg, it's another season-long injury that we've incurred," Pirates director of rugby Ian Davies told BBC Cornwall.

"It's unfortunate because Luke has been playing really well and taken his chance to get some starting places."

The former England Under-18 international has made 10 appearances for the Pirates since joining them in August 2013, scoring one try against Bedford in April.
