Bath have handed new contracts to hooker Tom Dunn and lock Charlie Ewels.

Lock Ewels, 19, made his starting debut in the European Champions Cup game against Toulouse and has captained the first team in the LV= Cup.

Hooker Dunn, 22, has made 22 senior appearances and featured in the Amlin Challenge Cup final defeat by Northampton in May.

"These two players have shown how to make the step up to the first team," said head coach Mike Ford.

"Their progress and development is indicative of how well our academy system is working.

"They'll have big roles to play within the club in the years to come."
