France wing Yoann Huget has been ruled out of the World Cup after injuring his knee in the 32-10 win against Italy on Saturday.
Huget, 28, who is capped 41 times, damaged cruciate ligaments in his right knee during the Pool D opener.
"Big thoughts to Yoann Huget," tweeted coach Philippe Saint-Andre. "Exemplary player. Great lad. We are all with you, get well soon!"
Remi Lamerat or Maxime Medard are expected to be named as a replacement.
