Edinburgh cruised to victory with 10 tries against Krasny Yar in Moscow and recorded successive Challenge Cup wins.

Blair Kinghorn, Sam Hidalgo-Clyne, Lewis Carmichael and Neil Cochrane all went over before the break to secure a bonus point.

Substitute prop Murray McCallum added two more scores before a penalty try was awarded and Kinghorn, Fraser McKenzie and Stuart McInally crossed.

Evgenii Kolomiitcev and Andrei Kondakov got Krasny's second-half tries.

With captain Magnus Bradbury serving a club ban and fellow flanker John Hardie serving a Scottish Rugby-imposed suspension, Carmichael, Luke Crosbie and Cornell Du Preez made up the back row, while hooker Cochrane skippered the side.

Krasny Yar had caused a surprise in last weekend's first round of Pool 4 fixtures with victory over holders Stade Francais in Siberia.

However, the match with Edinburgh was moved to the Russian capital because of fears about the freezing weather.

Edinburgh, having won away with five tries against London Irish last time out, were in front early with full-back Kinghorn going over and Jason Tovey converting.

Tovey also added the extras after half-back partner Hidalgo-Clyne and Carmichael had crossed.

However, fly-half Tovey went off injured to be replaced by Nathan Fowles and Hidalgo-Clyne moved to 10 and added the conversion to Cochrane's try and a penalty while Krasny were a man down.

Vas Artemyev had been sin-binned and, when back to a full complement, Krasny fell further behind. Darryl Marfo had been promoted to the starting line-up after Allan Dell's late withdrawal and Marfo's replacement McCallum went over twice with Hidalgo-Clyne converting both.

The Russian side conceded a penalty try after collapsing a maul but substitute Kolomiitcev crossed and Lasha Malaguradze converted to reduce their arrears.

Kinghorn and replacements McKenzie and McInally added scores with Kinghorn converting all three having moved to fly-half after Glenn Bryce had come on for Hidalgo-Clyne.

Krasny's Vladimir Chaban was sin-binned before McInally's try and missed the final few minutes. However, sub Andrei Kondakov went over for their second try and Malaguradze again converted.
