Sale Sharks have signed Wales dual-code winger Regan Grace on a short-term contract until February following a trial.
Grace, who had been without a club since leaving Cardiff at the end of last season, had been training with Sale since the summer.
The 28-year-old began his professional career with Super League side St Helens, scoring almost 100 tries and winning three Grand Finals and a Challenge Cup before changing codes in 2022.
His career has been hugely interrupted by injuries since then, leaving him unable to make an impact during spells at Racing 92, Bath and Cardiff, though he did play one game for Wales in an uncapped match against Queensland Reds during last year's summer tour of Australia.
Grace started for Sale in their 20-0 defeat to Bath in the Premiership Rugby Cup last Saturday.

"The last few years haven't been an easy ride for me and I've had plenty of setbacks, but I still love playing rugby," he told the club website., external
"I had opportunities to go back into rugby league, but I do feel like I haven't shown what I can do in rugby union so I trained by myself and kept myself fit, waiting for a chance with a club.
"I've worked really hard and now I feel fit, strong and confident and I'm looking forward to playing over the next few months, because I feel I've still got a lot to give."
Sharks director of rugby Alex Sanderson added: "Regan has got loads of experience. He's played for Wales, he's played in Grand Finals and scored loads of tries, but since moving to union he hasn't had a chance to prove his worth.
"He's got brilliant feet, he's so quick and I know there's a real player in there. We're very fortunate to have him."
