Nunia Daunimoala is penalised for being offside from the original kick through from Fiji.

Instead of a Fijian try it will be a penalty to Wales just inside the Fiji half.

  2. Try reviewpublished at 50 mins

    Wales 20-28 Fiji

Kolora Lomani is over for what would be a deserved try for the Fiji wing!

But was their a forward pass in the process? Or maybe even an offside?

Brilliant from Wales, and we see the the reward for going through the phases and Fiji then struggle to maintain their defensive structure.

    Kayleigh Powell's feet there, brilliant.

    Wales 20-28 Fiji

Wales allow the restart to bounce, and Fiji replacement Mereoni Nakesa - just on - collects the ball.

Thankfully for Wales, Nakesa is immediately stripped of the ball, and Sean Lynn's side can clear.

A lapse in concentration there, but Wales get away with it.

    Game on!

Wales full-back Kayleigh Powell sells a lovely dummy before cutting back inside, selling four Fiji defenders in the process.

She powers over for the first score of the second half.

Unfortunately Keira Bevan is once again off target with the conversion.

This is a bright start to the second half from Wales, who are within five or six metres of the Fiji try line.

It would be game on if they can score here.

You can already feel a difference in the kicking game with the wind now behind Wales.

They are winning the battle early in this second half and now have a line-out in the Fijian half.

Courtney Keight's game is ended early as she hobbles off the field under medical attention.

On comes former captain Hannah Dallavalle at centre in her place.

  9. Kick-off - sort ofpublished at 41 mins

    Wales 15-28 Fiji

Fiji make a mess of the restart so it will be a Welsh scrum in the middle of the field to start the half instead.

For the neutral fan, this has been a really entertaining encounter.

We've seen some spectacular tries, none more so than Fiji's end-to-end fourth score, but Wales' try on the stroke of half-time keeps them in the contest.

They will have the wind with them in the second half, so expect to see big kicks from Lleucu George and Kayleigh Powell as Wales will be looking to exploit the conditions and play in the right areas.

Wales will have the wind behind them in the second half, and that late Sisilia Tuipulotu try means they are only two scores behind.

So, will Sean Lynn's side be victorious?

Thumbs up for yes. Thumbs down for no.

We spoke before the game, how Wales beat Fiji is by sticking to a structured game. It's boring, it's not ideal, but when they've done it, they've managed to score.

Wales are missing one on one tackles and it's just giving momentum to Fiji which is what they want.

They've got to tighten up and play a more structured game in the second half.

Seven penalties to one, that's a massive difference.

You try to keep it below 10 across a whole game.

    HT: Wales 15-28 Fiji

    Caryl James
Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Cymru

It's been so frustrating. Here's two teams that play totally different styles.

Wales like structure and patterns, and Fiji like playing freely.

Wales' poor kicking has allowed Fiji to play their game.

Wales can't force things; go through the phases and then Fiji's defensive structure will be put to the test.

There we are, we've had the third try and that was so important.

If we didn't score there, that would have been a huge psychological blow and I'm not sure Wales would have been able to come back.

    Sisilia Tuipulotu

A lifeline for Wales to end the half.

Sisilia Tuipulotu has had a quiet half by her standards, but she has made a key contribution here.

The Wales prop uses her power to cross over from a metre out.

In contrast to Fiji's Litiana Vueti, Keira Bevan is 0/3 with the conversion attempts today.
