I received my fair share of handoffs like that before.

I had the misfortune of playing Fiji at sevens and that wasn't fun either in the Commonwealth Games.

    Repeka Tove, con Litiana Vueti

To make things even better, it leads to a try!

Verenaisi Bari's monster hand off gives Fiji a spring in their step, and Repeka Tove burst down her right wing to cross for a fourth Fiji try.

Litiana Vueti's perfect day with the boot continues. 4/4 now for the full-back from conversions.

If there was a prize for hand off of the tournament then it would go to Verenaisi Bari, who just sat down Kayleigh Powell on half way.

    Wow.

I think it was Bethan Lewis there, in front of the ball.

That just gives Fiji such an easy exit.

We have to be better than this.

The roars are from those in the blue, as Wales get their driving maul wrong and are stopped in their tracks by Fiji.

The Welsh scrum finally comes alive, and they win the penalty.

Lleucu George opts to kick to the corner instead of going for the posts.

Can Wales find a way back into the contest?

It's the Fiji fans who are making all the noise at the moment, they are having a blast here at Sandy Park.

So is Ioan Cunningham, he's not hiding his celebrations against his former side.

    Wales 10-21 Fiji

It looked like a really promising attack to start with, as Wales break down the left wing and work their way deep into Fiji territory for the first time in a while.

But Bethan Lewis and Kayleigh Powell are on different wavelengths as the flanker opts to pass to the full-back, and Powell spills it forward.

Scrum to Fiji just inside their own 22.

We have to retain possession now, because Fiji have been clinical, they've scored three tries already.

The crucial thing here is not to panic.

We did say it would be a two score wind, and Fiji are playing the conditions very well.

Every time Lleucu and Keira are trying to exit, they're kicking it right back at them.

Let's maybe keep the ball competitive in the air or stick to grubbers from now on - just for a little bit.

This time it is the Fijian line-out which falters, as Keleni Marawa's throw is not straight.

Maybe a chance for Wales to wrestle back some control.

Fiji are just so good at moving the point of contact and keeping the ball alive.

As soon as there's little gaps, we're getting ripped apart.

    Setaita Railumu, con Litiana Vueti

    Called it!

Once again it is unconventional from Fiji, but very effective.

This time it is the scrum half Setaita Railumu who spots a gap to the right of the ruck, and takes full advantage to sneak through.

Litiana Vueti remains perfect with the boot.

I think Wales need to be careful here, the run of penalties are going against them.

One positive, their discipline has changed over this tournament from, if we look over the past few years.

But just a bit of that ill-discipline creeping in.

Sisilia Tuipulotu is the latest Wales player penalised.

The Wales prop is perhaps fortunate to avoid further punishment for a deliberate knock on with Fiji on the attack.
