That all came from England being unable to claim their set piece. As soon as you introduce dummy jumpers, you introduce a margin for error.

We knew that Canada were going to start strong. England are yet to attack. We don't have to panic just yet but what a start from Canada.

It had been coming! Canada win a lineout, whip the ball to the blindside and flying winger Asia Hogan-Rochester was not going to miss!

England's first scrum is a big one and they push Canada back to a thumping Twickers roar. That's what the red roses pack has to deliver.

Canada look so dangerous. Only a handling error gives England a chance to breathe.

I think the organisers have just spent a Canadian player's entire annual central funding on pyrotechnics.

There was a loud cheer as Ellie Kildunne appeared on the big screen pre kick-off.

A group of French fans have hung around after their team's third-place defeat and lustily sung out the Canadian national anthem.

    We are there...

Too close to call. England should win with their resources but they haven’t impressed in this WC with their one track rugby and are used to losing finals. In contrast Canada play a multi dimensional game and have nothing to lose. Don’t see it being more than 5 points either way.

There's a lot of expectation on England but they're used to delivering. You have to forget everything that's gone before in the World Cup. The only thing relevant is the next 80 minutes.
