    It's job done for Connacht.

That's maximum points in all four Challenge Cup games as they top Pool 1 and look forward to a home quarter-final and potentially semi-final.

It's hard to believe they are 13th in the United Rugby Championship.

Cardiff on the other hand face a tense wait.

The fact that they got nothing from tonight's game means they have to rely on other results to go their way.

They will have a keen eye on how Cheetahs and Perpignan - the two teams that can knock them out of the top four - get on this weekend.

Cheetahs and Perpignan are both on six points going into their final games while Cardiff remain on seven.

Cheetahs face Lyon on Saturday while Perpignan travel to Italy to face Zebre on Sunday.

Cardiff head coach Matt Sherratt told Premier Sport: "It's a frustrating night but I told the players it's probably a step up in performance over the last couple of weeks so disappointed not to get anything out of it.

"They took our legs away in the first-half. That's probably where the game went although we did have our chances.

"Disappointed at the end there not to get a try and get two points."

Connacht coach Pete Wilkins told Premier Sports: "I'm delighted to get a clean sweep of bonus points out of the pool games.

"It's really significant for us, and it puts us in a good position if we can keep winning.

"Obviously we'll get those home draws leading through the knock-out rounds. It's always a tough place to play here."

Fair play to Connacht the way they played in key moments in that game.

There were moments that could have swung the game in Cardiff's way but they were disciplined and kept at it.

Cardiff need to try and pick up a tempo for the last four minutes here. It may be a lot to ask but Cardiff need a quick score.

Cardiff worked so hard to get that penalty, but Ben Thomas has just put too much on it.

Maybe they should've gone for the three points there?

Ben Thomas has just missed touch which would have given Cardiff an attacking lineout.

    That could prove very costly.

Losing this game isn't the end of the world for Cardiff - but they face a tense wait on other results this weekend.

Cheetahs and Perpignan will be the teams looking to knock them out of the top four in Pool One.

Fourth-placed Cheetahs and fifth-placed Perpignan are both on six points going into their final games while third-placed Cardiff are currently on seven.

Can they get a bonus-point in these last five minutes?

Ray Lee-Lo looked down and out a minute ago, he was hobbling around after taking a knock.

But the 38-year-old centre has just come up with a huge turnover.

That's tough to take from a Cardiff point of view.

Connacht had the set-piece. A couple of missed tackles and speed of play has lead to that try.

I think it was a slight miss with Alun Lawrence who got shrugged off and nice ball inside for the easy try.
