  4. Postpublished at 62mins

    Leinster 33-21 Bath

Converted try - Leinster 33-21 Bathpublished at 60mins

    Garry Ringrose (con Sam Prendergast)

Bath are still adjusting to Obano's dismissal and you'd have to think Leinster have this one in the bag now.

Great feet from Sam Prendergast who throws off Bath with a nice feint and glides through the line.

After he's tackled, the ball is recycled quickly and Garry Ringrose scampers over and underneath the posts.

What a bitter pill to swallow for the visitors.

    RG Snyman (con Sam Prendergast)

What an impact from RG Snyman off the bench.

His offload opens things up and Sam Prendergast keeps things going.

Bath scramble well to keep Leinster at bay initially but when the ball comes back inside they can't stop the giant Springbok from stretching across the whitewash.

As things stand, Bath are dropping down to the Challenge Cup.

    How's your luck Finn Russell?

    Line-out to Bath...

  15. Postpublished at 44mins

    Leinster 19-21 Bath

There's a fair amount of intent to how Leinster have started this half, a sharpness in attack they've been accused of lacking at times this year.

Bath have been defending well, though, and here comes Obano to return them to a full complement.

    Leinster 19-21 Bath

And we're back underway in Dublin...the second 40 can't be as good as the first - can it?

  19. As it standspublished at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 18 January

    HT: Leinster 19-21 Bath

With 40 minutes remaining in Pool 2, Leinster trail Bath at home but would still top the group.

That's because La Rochelle are behind against Benetton.

This combination of results would be bad news for Clermont who, if things stay the same, will fall into the Challenge Cup despite their last-gasp win over Bristol earlier.

Russell's conversion of Tom de Glanville's try was the last action of the half and the teams head for the sheds after 40 minutes of hugely entertaining fare.

The visitors stormed from the blocks with two early tries only for Leinster to come back and seemingly right the ship before half-time.

But even with Beno Obano in the bin, there was time just before the break for Bath to strike again with what was the pick of the first-half's six tries.

More of the same after the break please!
