What a bizarre and frantic first half that was.
World Rugby is trying to simplify the game but that opening 40 minutes proved complicated for the watching public as they try to understand what is going on.
A 20-minute red card for Fiji wing Semi Radradra, yellow cards shown to Wales flanker Tommy Reffell and Fiji number eight Elia Canakaivata with the two sides sharing 24 points.
The main influence in that first half was French referee Luc Ramos and his television match official Eric Gauzins and I am not sure that is what people want to see.
Wales will be happy with their line-out and early attacking endeavours but Fiji will be restored to 15 men at the start of the second half and look dangerous.

All the hard work is done on the inside.
If you want to talk about combinations, players stepping up and who's really shone in this opening half, it's definitely Ben Thomas and Max Llewellyn.
What they are doing both sides of the ball, in attack and defence, how they are varying the game, who's carrying, who's your second ball-player, they have been excellent.
The first 20, Wales were really good, it's the most positive we've seen them in attack for a long time.
