  1. When a red is not a redpublished at 28 mins

    Wales 14-10 Fiji

Warren Gatland said he was a fan of the 20-minute red card but I wonder what he would say now!

The foul was judged a "high level of danger" so should a red be, well... a red?

    What do you think?

Thumbs up if you agree with the 20-minute card.

  2. Red card: Semi Radrada (Fiji)published at 26 mins

    Wales 14-10 Fiji

So this is an interesting one.

Radrada's yellow card has been upgraded to red - which means he will be off for 20 minutes under the new World Rugby trial.

Tommy Reffell is back for Wales and it's 15 v 13 for the next couple of minutes.

It absolutely has Caryl and proof once again that Fiji really can score a try out of nothing.

Wales' defence weren't on the same page. Muntz found the gap because Wales' forwards didn't organise quick enough and that has let Fiji back in the game.

Oh hang on... 13-man Fiji have just scored and it's their fly-half who does it pretty much single-handedly!

He stepped inside Taine Plumtree and Gareth Thomas, sped past Will Rowlands and then Cam Winnett and Blair Murray fail to drag him down in time.

That's a bit soft from Wales... but Muntz was class.

    Wales 14-3 Fiji

This is turning into a repeat of Murrayfield last week when Fiji had two yellows inside 14 minutes.

Head coach Mick Byrne must be tearing his hair out!

He's in trouble there. Radrada doesn't control himself does he?

He doesn't try to slow down or chop his feet, he's just going one way.

  8. Sin-bin: Semi Radrada (fiji)published at 21 mins

    Wales 14-3 Fiji

Ouch! Semi Radrada slams his shoulder into Cam Winnett's head as he went up for a high ball.

Everyone in the Principality Stadium just winced when they showed a replay.

The Fiji wing is off and now we're down to 14 v 13 for next few minutes!

It's going to be one of those games!

  9. Replacement: Walespublished at 20 mins

    Wales 14-3 Fiji

Early change for Wales as Mason Grady is forced off.

Warren Gatland only has two backs on the bench so Sam Costelow comes on to the wing.

It's silly from Canakaivata, he's pulled the player down when the try has pretty much been scored anyway. He didn't have to do it.

  11. Sin-bin: Elia Canakaivata (Fiji)published at 19 mins

    Wales 14-3 Fiji

As a result of the penalty try, Fiji's number eight gets his marching orders to the sin bin... and it's 14 v 14 here in Cardiff.

Penalty Try: Wales 14-3 Fijipublished at 19 mins

They didn't get it down but only because of foul play by Fiji.

So 14-man Wales extend their lead and no need for the conversion.

  13. Try reviewpublished at 19 mins

    Wales 7-3 Fiji

Back to the action and are Wales over for their second?

Lineout drive and the forwards rumble forward.

They're clearly over the line but did anyone get the ball down?

I completely agree with you Siwan.

We've seen it in American Football for decades yet rugby has only just caught up. Better late than never!

I really like it that the crowd can hear the referee as he gives his ruling.

It allows the crowd to understand those decisions, it adds to the spectator experience here in the stadium.

That was a such a shame because Wales put some great passes together then - not least Ben Thomas who is loving life at 12.

Oh dear, not only is it not a try but Tommy Reffell is binned for dangerous play.

Wales thought it was 12-3, but now they're down to 14 for the next 10 minutes.

  18. Try review... no trypublished at 15 mins

Cam Winnett cuts a great angle from Tomos Williams' clever flat pass but will it be allowed?

Did Tommy Reffell neck roll a Fijian on the floor in the clear-out?

Luc Ramos is looking at the giant screens.

Max Llewellyn has had to wait more than a year to add to his tally of caps but is being used a lot already today.

That was a lovely move by Wales. As a winger myself I know Blair Murray will remember that moment for ever.
