England captain Marlie Packer on playing New Zealand next week: "This is world number one against world champions. It doesn't really get much better than that. If people haven't got their tickets they need to get them now, because it's going to be a physical encounter. Both sets of packs will come alive and be electric.

"It's one not to miss."

England captain Marlie Packer: "We knew it was going to be a tough encounter playing France. Every time we play, we know it's going to be a battle. Right to the final whistle - you don't get much better than playing France.

"I think we came out the blocks firing. France and had a good 10 minutes within that but we just needed to make sure we stuck to our processes that we worked on a lot over pre-season. It’s a lot of chaos but it is coming together.

"I'm super proud of all the girls."

Holly Aitchison landed four conversions, it could be a tight encounter against New Zealand so England will need the fly half to be on song with the boot. A cute chip ahead led to a try as well.

England went through their whole repertoire of what they can do. France were just not brave enough but they did use there young players.

France get the ball back after England move infield, then they kick into touch, and the whistle goes. England have the win, but there will be a few things to work on with New Zealand visiting in a week's time.
