Tommy Freeman wants to make up for a mistake. That was a one-on-one contest and he just mistimed it.

Freeman needs to settle himself into the game - he will get a carry soon.

France are smart. Where possible, they will attack at Mitchell after he showed last week how poor he is in defence.

There was no reason for Tommy Freeman to bite in.

It was far too easy for France to get on the outside.

Plenty of dropped balls early on. Any high-scoring predictions may be regretted given the wet conditions.

By some estimates, London would be the sixth-largest French city if it were judged purely on number of French citizens. It sounds like most of them have headed to the Allianz Stadium. Loads of noise for the visitors.

It's too early to call Dupont the GOAT, it's a different era. He plays the way a scrum-half used to play before the fly-half stole the show. Pichot, Stringer and Dawson all used to play like Dupont does now and forwards used to be savvy to it. Only time will tell if he does become a GOAT, but he's not even the best ever in his position yet.

For some players this will be a promo poster they want to be nowhere near.

England and France will meet in a non-Test game back here in mid-summer in preparation for tours to Argentina and New Zealand respectively.

However England's best players will hope they will be involved in the British and Irish Lions warm-up fixture against Argentina in Dublin the day before.

Ben Spencer, who started the season as England's first-choice scrum-half, albeit in Alex Mitchell's injury-enforced absence, is included.

Calling Dupont the greatest who has ever played the game is somewhat insulting to the great players who have gone before and who showed equal dominance over a longer period of time than Dupont has to date. People are too quick to forget past players and only focus on current ones in these GOAT debates. And for what it's worth, McCaw is undoubtedly the GOAT, he played 148 tests and won 131 of those. He won World Player of the Year three times and was on the shortlist another five times, no one comes close to eight nominations. He would have made Dupont's life hell in his prime! Cue the insults!
