    Hat-trick!

The Australian wingers of Maya Stewart and Desiree Miller combine, Stewart laying off despite receiving a high tackle. Miller puches the ball and dives over.

Another Sammy Wood conversion puts Australia in sight of the half-century.

I would love to see Samoa keep the ball in hand.

But then Samoa concede a cheap knock-on from a deep Australian kick.

That's 60 metres given away for free.

Samoa, occasionally, produce some lovely rugby. Full back Karla Wright-Akeli with an excellent take from an Australian penalty, right on the touchline.

It is moments like those that they will remember, which will give them confidence and hope.

His 'second string' will fancy their chances of putting up a big score.

So often in these David v Goliath games, it is about whether or not the favourites take their jobs seriously against the minnows.

So far, Australia have been ruthless and brutally efficient. Their job is already done and then some.

    Desiree Miller (26 mins)

Australia, it must be said, are playing very well.

They are not only dominating the maul, but playing some lovely stuff in open play too. Here they again put together a lovely passing move out to the left, finished by winger Desiree Miller who outspeeds an attempted tackle to score her second try.

Sammy Wood isn't able to convert this time - she's four from six.

Australia's kicking game so far is impressive and much superior to the United States.

It is looking like that game will decide who will go through with England.

USA struggled to clear their lines so often in the World Cup opener against the Red Roses.

We just see the excitement that Samoa have to offer. Line-break after line-break and then Samoa kick it away. Samoa need to be mindful of their discipline, especially so close to Australia's try line.

As if it couldn't get any worse for Samoa, they are down to 14 players.

Prop Ana Mamea is yellow carded for going offside in the maul before Australia's latest try, she will sit out the next 10 minutes.

    Another maul, another score.

Once again Australia get numbers behind the ball to drive over, prop Eva Karpani the woman to touch down here.

Sammy Wood with a fine conversion, her kicking has been strong so far.

  17. What's the record Women's World Cup victory?published at 21 mins

    Australia 26-0 Samoa

New Zealand hold the record for the highest score in a Women's Rugby World Cup match thanks to a whopping 134-6 victory over Germany in Amsterdam in 1998.

That 128-point margin is also the largest in tournament history.

How close can the Wallaroos get close to that scoreline?

Samoa look pretty deflated already, making a mess of a line-out here.

But this is better - when they get their forwards into play, they have plenty of strength. Aussie hooker Katalina Amosa is flattened, you do not see that often.

Quarter of an hour played, Australia have their bonus point.

Samoa simply don't have the power to defend against Australia when the girls in gold get the numbers lined up, and this time it is flanker Emily Chancellor who powers over from close range.

    Converted again by Sammy Wood.
