Well it wasn't meant to be for Edinburgh this afternoon. It was always going to be a tough game in Pretoria but Edinburgh were close to beating the bulls but as usual they couldn't capitalise on their chances.
They're off to take on the Lions next week hopefully with the aim to improve on their short coming this week.
We'll catch you all next time! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Edinburgh's discipline was actually pretty good across the game, the Ewan Ashman incident was a one off. There was a real lack of understanding of the game management.
Edinburgh had a real opportunity to get in there and try and put some pressure on the Bulls but they couldn't do it because of key decision making.

Edinburgh captain Grant Gilchrist has been talking to Premier Sports:
"It feels like a missed opportunity, we're absolutely gutted. We put ourselves in positions to win the game but a lot of moments to look back on. We were five metres from their line and then conceded a 95 metre try.
"We will dust ourselves down and keep striving for what is right for us. It hurts because we put ourselves in a position to win but we weren't quite good enough in the key moments in the last 20 to make it happen."

If you look at the stats, they don't tell you everything but Bulls had about 40% possession, their line-out was about 40%, they gave away 16 penalties, had two yellow cards and scored only one try and still they came out on top.
Bulls looked set for a score but Edinburgh get the turnover and Darcy Graham goes racing down the far side by is taken down. The attack doesn't stop there as the whole team come up in support.
Worked amazingly through the hands out to Duhan Van der Merwe but he is taken down by three Bulls which brings this phase of the attack to a close.
With a penalty for offside going their way, Ross Thompson calls for the tee and continues his strong performance from the tee.
Two scores still needed to secure the win for the Scots.
After a bit of afters between the two sides as the tension reach boiling point, Bulls are awarded a penalty after Edinburgh are pinged for not releasing, Boeta Chamberlain calls for the tee to give the hosts a nine point lead.
Edinburgh are gunning to use their man advantage as they set up camp in the Bulls' 22.
This time there's a determination from the visitors as they desperately try to extend their lead. This is where they struggled last season, can they improve in the new season?
Edinburgh managed to get the turnover and Darcy Graham is released to go darting through the midfield but Mornay Smith says 'not today' and clatters the Hawick native backwards, ripping the ball in the process.
It seems Edinburgh can take advantage as they go for the bold call of a kick to the corner for a line-out on the Bulls' five metre line.
Even with the hosts' being pinged for repeated infringements, they manage to turn the ball over and send Edinburgh rushing back in defence. Ross McCann does really well to get the cover tackle in.
Where has this Bulls' side been for the last 10 minutes.
There's a call for foul play as Hamish Watson croc rolls one of the Bulls.
It's a messy line-out as it all goes a bit awry for the hosts as Edinburgh scramble and gather the ball. They don't get very far before a knock on gives Bulls the put in at the scrum... which also goes awry for the hosts.
Edinburgh are firmly on the front foot now as they push through the Bulls defence. Camped out on their own five metre line Bulls are trying to meet them hit for hit.
It pays off for the hosts as they push the visitors back and force a knock on, bringing a sigh of relief to the Bulls and their fans.
It is the hosts who came out looking raring to go but soon Edinburgh turn up the heat at the breakdown with Hamish Watson and Jamie Ritchie doing what they do best... Turning the ball over.
