So a job very well done by England who won the Test right at the end.

It's time to get ready for the Lions...

Very impressed by England. If this is essentially England's 2nd XV with all the injuries and Lions missing, I'd rather watch them than the 1st XV. Much more dynamic and fluent attacking rugby.

    Nick, Birmingham

That is a top drawer series win for England. A young team, short on experience going away to a quality team who have beaten the best recently. Credit to the coaches, England played some great stuff at times and excellent defence. All hail George Ford, guts and class.

    John, Southborough

For an England team without about 2/3 of its starters, from the front row to the full back, this series win against Los Pumas in Argentina is a monumental achievement and shows how promising the future is for this England men’s team

Argentina captain Julian Montoya: "We were not good enough, we have to be honest with ourselves. I am sorry we couldn't get the win, we gave away too many penalties."

  4. 'We found a way'published at 22:44 British Summer Time 12 July

England captain George Ford: "We found a way in the end. We had a lot of opportunities in the 22 but couldn't get over the line, I'm proud of the boys. I like our fight, our togetherness, showing how much we care. There was some great stuff, we should have scored more tries but the attitude of the group is great."

How do you get Pepper, Pollock, 2 Curries and an Underhill into 1 number 7 shirt?

Henry Ellison: Really intense test match that. Cracking win. Remember this #Argentina, external team beat the #Lions, external a few weeks back and we have 14 players missing in Aus and other injuries. Our depth is great. #Ford, external the best fly half in #England, external

For 60 minutes that was a great game, then both sides looked spent physically and out of ideas. But England picked up a win from somewhere and that's a terrific series to win on the road.

    Guy Pepper looks absolutely superb.

    Nick, London

Re Katie and Gary - cheer up! This is a second or third string England team dominating Argentina's best team who've just beaten the Lions and some of the best teams in the world in the last year!

    Jack, Kent

The enigma that is JVP...moments of brilliance mixed with moments of rank mediocrity. A distant 3rd in the ENG scrum-half stakes.

    Jack van Poortvliet

    Wooooowww!

That's absolutely terrific from Guy Pepper, who picks the ball up off the floor and spots a gap on the blindside, charging into space. He looks like he's ran too wide but has the presence of mind to find fellow sub Jack van Poortvliet on his inside and he dives in.

    Ussse ittt!

That's all you can hear as both sides take their time and look edgy on the ball. Inspiration needed.

Both packs look spent. It could come down to one error. It's a scrum in the Argentina 22.

Catie I can tell you that Argentina have only been in England's 22 three times. England have been in a great many more than that.

We've got a stoppage as Ignacio Mendy is floored by Sam Underhill but there's no foul play.

How long do a team have to be in the opposition side’s 22 before they score? Pretty much the entire second half if you’re England. This is awful from England, such poor finishing. They should be at least 1 or 2 scores ahead.

    Catie

After some really promising rugby in the first test England have reverted to Borthwickball 101, aimlessly hoofing the ball away at every opportunity. Funnily enough they haven’t remotely looked like scoring.
