Scarlets and Ospreys not competing for west Wales spot
Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) chair Richard Collier-Keywood says Scarlets and Ospreys are not competing against each other, despite the union announcing that only one team will be based in west Wales.
The WRU has confirmed it will reduce the number of funded professional teams from four to three "as soon as possible," potentially by the 2026-27 season.
