'Almighty crisis' could follow Welsh rugby changes
Former Welsh Rugby Union chair Gareth Davies accepts past regimes, including his own, have contributed to the game's current problems.
But he tells the latest Scrum V podcast an "almighty crisis" could follow current regime plans that could see the professional tier reduced from four to two clubs.
Davies, who was governing body chair from 2014-2020 believes it is "defeatist" to think Welsh rugby can only produce up to around 90 players for the professional tier.
