Mowi Premiership champions Kingussie overcame an early setback to maintain their 100% record with a 3-1 victory over local rivals Newtonmore.

Lovat kept in touch with a late 1-0 success over Kyles, as did Skye with a 2-0 away victory over Glenurquhart.

Lochaber staged a dramatic comeback to snatch a 3-3 draw away to Kinlochshiel and it was goalless between Oban Camanachd and visitors Caberfeidh.

Drew MacDonald opened for Newtonmore after 10 minutes at The Eilan and the hour was beckoning before Ruaridh Anderson equalised. Cameron Bremner edged Kingussie ahead and Savio Genini clinched it for them with two minutes to go.

Greg Matheson turned the game at Balgate Lovat's way with 10 minutes remaining.

Dan MacDonald opened for Skye in the first half and Ruaridh MacLeod confirmed their victory late on.

Lochaber grabbed an early lead through Finlay MacDonald but Kinlochshiel quickly stormed back with John MacRae's hat-trick in 23 first-half minutes.

Max Campbell narrowed it to 3-2 and, right at the death, Ben Delaney grabbed a point for the newly promoted Spean Bridge side.

After four games, Kingussie have a full quota of eight points with Lovat two adrift and leading Skye on goal difference. At the bottom, Glenurquhart remain pointless and are two behind Newtonmore.
