I don't see anyone living with Judd Trump the way he is playing. He has managed his season schedule better and is proving pretty much unplayable snooker.
Dan.

Ending this session 5-3 down after how Judd has played is quite a result for Brecel. He didn't pot a ball for 45 minutes.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's match over after that session, but it's very close.

Dan Stott: Ronnie O'Sullivan is brushing these opponents aside with his B game. At times, his C game. He’s got so many gears left.
O'Sullivan 6-2 Si
Steve Davis
Six-time world champion on BBC Two
Ronnie O'Sullivan is getting the breathing space to trust his new cue. Nobody is really putting him under pressure. It has been a bit of a workmanlike performance from Ronnie overall. When he walked off he didn't really look particularly overjoyed, it was like 'I've done my job here and get ready for the next session'.
O'Sullivan 6-2 Si
Vintage Ronnie O'Sullivan. The colours are dispatched in no time at all by the Rocket as he rounds off the session with a break of 121, skipping an awkward black in an otherwise impressive frame.
O'Sullivan will have the luxury of a four-frame cushion when he resumes his quarter-final with Si Jiahui tomorrow morning.
O'Sullivan 5-2 Si
Ronnie O'Sullivan like shimmying round the table like a ballroom dancer now as he eyes a century break - squeaking in the third-from-last red with a stylish double to take his break to 85.

Ronnie O’Sullivan is the greatest snooker player ever - the guy basically wins when he wants to. He just has to want to. Crazy talent.
Rachel T (old enough to remember Steve Davis and the rest of the old brigade!)
O'Sullivan 5-2 Si
Ronnie O'Sullivan has a pot-success rate of 93% to Si Jiahui's 86%. The Rocket rattles a break of 54 in double quick time - starting with a brilliant long pot - and blows open the pack of reds. He's motoring to the conclusion of this session now.
Trump 5-2 Brecel

1997 world champion on BBC iPlayer
He's had to sit in his chair for long periods but Luca's come back and given hmself belief.
Trump 5-2 Brecel
An important frame for Luca Brucel.
Hes back to 5-2 behind with a 68 break.
O'Sullivan 5-2 Si
Shaun Murphy
2005 world champion on BBC Two
Si Jiahui nearly put his cue through the floor as he walked back to his chair after that missed black. He was so annoyed. He'd just got a foothold in the match and he really should have won that frame. Now he's scrambling to win the last frame to stay in touch.
O'Sullivan 5-2 Si
Ruthless from the Rocket, who returns and clears the table bar the black to pinch the frame with a break of 67. That missed black really cost Si Jiahui.
O'Sullivan 4-2 Si
Dennis Taylor
1985 world champion on BBC Two
I think Si Jiahui is starting to relax a bit now. He made that century break earlier but has still looked a bit tense. Until that black, that was much better. Can Ronnie jump on this chance now?
O'Sullivan 4-2 Si
A quickfire break of 52 with the pack open and Si Jiahui has looked much more purposeful in the seventh frame so far. However, he completely misses a routine black to allow Ronnie O'Sullivan back to the table.

Steve Davis
Six-time world champion on BBC Two
Ronnie O'Sullivan has probably just popped out of the room to compose himself. There's two more frames left in this session and you suspect he'd probably be happy with 5-3 and think it represents a good afternoon's work.
Trump 5-1 Brecel
Ken Doherty
1997 world champion on BBC iPlayer
This is unplayable. Absolutely unplayable. He's got the cue ball on a string.
