    Chris Wakelin cuts in a brilliant red to get his hand back on the table but then misses a red down the bottom rail.

    It won't cut in for Neil Robertson though and when it stays over the pocket, Wakelin breathes a huge sigh of relief.

    He wins his first match at the Crucible against the 2010 champion.

    Chris Wakelin goes in off and gets put straight back into bat with three reds tightly packed together on the bottom cushion.

    This time he misses the reds entirely, hits the black and leaves a free ball. Extraordinary stuff.

    Ohhhhh. Chris Wakelin is left a long red which he cuts towards the bottom left corner but it is not for dropping.

    The brown is blocking Neil Robertson's natural potting angle and the Australian plays a cannon off the black and red in the middle of the table. What a shot. But the white follows the red in.

    Pure drama.

    Will that be Neil Robertson's last shot in the World Championship this year? He fails to drop in a red along the bottom cushion and has left Chris Wakelin with an easy starter.

    What has the Englishman done? He pots the black and it is going to block off his next red. That is a huge error of judgement.

    Robertson is going to get a reprieve.

    He pots a red to the left corner but has screwed the white back into the right middle pocket.

    This is not a match-winning chance yet but can he turn it into one. He gets to 26 points and is studying a plant.

    That's not even close and he remonstrates with himself. Barry Hawkins plays a terrible safety shot and the Iworld number 24 is going to get another big chance at winning this match.
