    Having failed to qualify for last year's World Championship, 2010 winner Neil Robertson is on the brink of an early exit from this year's event.

    Nothing quite seemed to go right for the Australian in the first nine frames of his match against Chris Wakelin, who really impressed to take a 7-2 lead into the concluding session.

    Robertson knocked in a century break in frame eight, but Wakelin took a potentially pivotal ninth frame - which lasted close to 55 minutes - to put himself in prime position to reach the second round.
