Stephen Maguire, speaking on BBC Two after his defeat to Dave Gilbert: "There was no way back after that first session, I handed the match over.
"But fair play, he played better than me and deserved it.
"I'm never going to just lie down, but it's a day and a half I'd like to forget.
"I feel like I gifted it to him - and I hate that."

Dave Gilbert fought back tears speaking to BBC Two after reaching the semi-finals: "I was struggling to even get to the qualifers to be honest. I was thinking of turning up, taking my 10 grand and going home.
"Andy Lee (fellow player and friend who has helped him) - lifesaver. I'm sorry I haven't been like this for a while. I can't wait to get out there.
"I'm feeling good. I've won a lot of scrappy games, just battling."
On possibility of facing John Higgins again after losing to him in the semi-final five years ago: "I'd love to play the great man again and see how we fare. He's a legend and I'd love to have that challenge again."

Dave Gilbert withstood a fightback from Stephen Maguire to book his semi-final spot.
Gilbert had led 9-2 and was pegged back to 10-7, but kept his cool and was understandably emotional after his triumph.

Ronnie didn't kill him off, but he came back so strong.
It proves how dangerous he is, he just loves playing snooker and, given the chance, he's a free-flowing player.
