  1. Trump one ton away from £100,000 bonuspublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 8-6 Murphy

Century number 99 of the season for Judd Trump. He needs one more ton to earn a £100,000 bonus.

Trump goes 8-6 ahead with what John Parrott describes as "one of the best breaks of this year's World Championship".

1991 world champion on BBC Four

We were talking earlier about how Judd's break-building has improved. This is a classic example, this has been a wonderful visit so far. Everything was congested, there was not a great area to play in and he keeps knocking reds in.

Trump has done enough to win the frame - again, we're now looking to see if he can get that 99th century of the season...

  3. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 7-6 Murphy

Shaun Murphy hits a red at the fourth attempt and Judd Trump goes for a double into the middle - which he gets!

Now - can he take full advantage of that earlier bit of good fortune?

  4. Postpublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 7-6 Murphy

Judd Trump gets a nice run of the balls during a safety exchange - a couple of nudges off baulk colours leave Shaun Murphy snookered behind the brown and with plenty of loose reds if he doesn't get his reply quite right...

Two attempts are off target and the third crashes full into the pink.

  5. Murphy reduces deficit againpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 7-6 Murphy

The hard work was done by that 67 break from Shaun Murphy - he was quickly back at the table to nudge his way over the finishing line in frame 13.

  6. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 7-5 Murphy

Shaun Murphy overcomes a bit of an issue when on 60, needing the help of the spider to bridge over the bunch when potting a red.

He's 67 in front with 67 remaining when his break comes to an end.

  7. Woollaston wins 45-minute framepublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 27 April

I'm not sure even the purists would have enjoyed that last frame. All 45 gruelling minutes of it.

We're 11 frames in to this match and the highest break is 67. Many of the shots are taking more than 30 seconds.

Judged on tonight so far, potential quarter-final opponent Ronnie O'Sullivan will not be quaking in his boots.

Ben Woollaston gets one back and trails 6-5. At least he'll be happy enough to be back within one frame of his opponent.

The break-off is becoming a bit of a poisoned chalice!

Shaun Murphy picks out a long red with his first shot after the mid-session interval.

    Si 6-4 Woollaston

    Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion on BBC Four

It seems that no player is able to stamp their authority on the match, reel off three or four frames in a row and get some real momentum, which is really important in multi-session matches.

Si Jiahui famously got to the semi-final here so he's arguably got more experience playing here than Ben Woollaston, although Ben has been a pro for a lot longer.

Si has got the pedigree here at the Crucible, which could be the deciding factor.

  10. How the draw looks - bottom halfpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 27 April

In the bottom half of the draw, John Higgins will face Mark Williams in one of the quarter-finals.

Luca Brecel is very likely to face either Judd Trump or Shaun Murphy in the last eight.

  11. How the draw looks - top halfpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 27 April

We already have one quarter-final tie locked up in the top half of the draw.

The winner of the match between Si Jiahui and Ben Woollaston is likely to face Ronnie O'Sullivan in the last eight.

    Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion on BBC Four

Judd Trump has made 98 centuries this season and they were all a breeze at the end. Now, to make a century break has become the most difficult thing for Judd!

I totally understand the way that he's sort of twitching on these shots that he wouldn't normally do because it's such a big prize to get two more centuries.

But there were some great shots in that break.

  13. Trump misses out on century againpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 7-5 Murphy

Judd Trump knocks in a frame-winning contribution and to be honest it was never really in any doubt from an early stage in the break.

But that century still won't happen for him!

This time he breaks down on 97.

Remember, if he gets two more centuries in this World Championship, he'll bring up 100 for the season and earn a £100,000 bonus.

As far as the match goes, Trump and Shaun Murphy have shared the first four frames and they will have an interval of about 15 minutes before returning for four more.

    Trump 6-5 Murphy

I mentioned in the first frame of the evening that Shaun Murphy benefitted (albeit briefly) from opening the reds with an attacking safety shot.

He tries the same again at the start of frame 12, but this time he leaves a red right over the corner for Judd Trump to knock in from distance.

The world number one is on a break of 38.

  16. Murphy back within one framepublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 6-5 Murphy

Shaun Murphy makes an 87 break to secure frame 11.

The reigning Masters champion trails the reigning UK champion by just one frame.

  17. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 6-4 Murphy

Frame 11 is a role reversal of frame 10, with Judd Trump breaking off and Shaun Murphy putting together a hefty contribution - albeit it took a superb long red to get this break going.

It's already past the 60 mark, with just a couple more pots needed to wrap up the frame.

  18. Woollastons keeping snooker in the familypublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 27 April

    Si 6-4 Woollaston

If Ben Woollaston's surname rings a bell, then that might not be entirely down to his snooker achievements alone.

Wife Tatiana is one of the sport's leading referees.

She is not allowed to take charge of Ben's matches to avoid any possible accusations of a conflict of interest, but has officiated on many of the sport's big occasions and first appeared at the World Championship in 2020.

This is why you have to concentrate on every single ball, especially at the level they're playing at.

Shaun Murphy will be absolutely kicking himself with that break-off.

  20. Trump restores two-frame leadpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 27 April

    Trump 6-4 Murphy

Judd Trump takes full advantage of that Shaun Murphy error to win frame 10 - although that 99th century of the season continues to elude the world number one.

A thin cut to the black, played right-handed, stays in the jaws and the break ends on 89.
