It's raining at SW19. I know, I was shocked too.

As a result, there will be no play on the outside courts until 13:00 BST at the earliest.

Given umbrellas are still up, don't be surprised if that time is pushed back.

  6. Quarter-final timepublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 9 July

The rain has been relentless over the past few days but the show must go on - it helps when there are a couple of courts with roofs - and we are getting to the business end of this year's Championships.

That's right, it's quarter-final time at Wimbledon with top seed in the men's draw Jannik Sinner getting things started on Centre Court.

With any luck we'll be treated to a few more shots like this...

In the women's draw, things start with a battle of two unseeded players as Emma Raducanu's conqueror Lulu Sun faces Croatia's Donna Vekic in the first match on Court One.

The other women's quarter-final today sees Italian seventh seed Jasmine Paolini up against 19th seed Emma Navarro, who ousted her fellow American Coco Gauff in round four.

    That's second on Centre.

Jasmine Paolini, Emma Navarro, Lulu Sun and Donna Vekic are in the women's singles quarter-finals

Rounding things off on Court One is defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

He has been pushed hard in his last two matches so expect drama aplenty as he goes up against the USA's 12th seed Tommy Paul.

Alcaraz has simply refused to be beaten so far in the tournament - Exhibit A is below - so Paul will need to be at his best. It should be a cracking match!
