After duffing a drop shot completely, Carlos Alcaraz then sends a backhand long and it's 15-30.

Cam Norrie's half chance doesn't last long though as he puts a loose forehand long before another Alcaraz winner.

A deft drop volley gives the two-time Wimbledon champion the hold. He's a game away from a two-set lead.

    .

Joe Salisbury is a step closer to securing a place in the Wimbledon mixed doubles final after the Brit and playing partner Luisa Stefani of Brazil edged a tense first set against Marcelo Arevalo and Shuai Zhang.

It went all the way to a tie-break where Salisbury and Stefani came out on top.

  3. Game and first set - Salisbury/Stefanipublished at 18:12 British Summer Time

    *Salisbury/Stefani 7-6 (8-6) 0-0 Arevalo/Zhang

A good start for Britain's Joe Salisbury and his Brazilian doubles partner Luisa Stefani in their mixed doubles semi-final out on court two.

The pair won a tight first set 8-6 on a tie-break against second seeds Marcelo Arevalo and Shuai Zhang.

Can they keep this momentum and cause an upset? Or will the seeded duo come back?

Excellent service game from Cam Norrie.

A number of big serves out wide help him take control, then he wallops an ace down the T to wrap it up.

  5. 'Alcaraz serving at 137 mph'published at 18:09 British Summer Time

    *Norrie 2-6 2-4 Alcaraz

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC One

It is a struggle to see how Norrie can have an impact from this point.

Alcaraz is not the tallest man out there but he is getting a 137 mph serve in. That is rapid.

  6. 'Alcaraz's forehand is ridiculous'published at 18:08 British Summer Time

    *Norrie 2-6 2-4 Alcaraz

    Andrew Castle
BBC Sport tennis commentator on BBC One

Alcaraz's forehand is ridiculously good. He is in control of the second set as he was in the first set.

That game was the first time he has lost a point on a drop shot. It's more a concentration issue than anything else but he manages to get back.

    Stand down.

    Chance for Cam Norrie.

With Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka watching on, the Brit comes back from 40-15 to get to deuce.

Hitting deep to Carlos Alcaraz's backhand and forcing the error.

And now - wonders will never cease - the Spaniard puts a drop shot into the net. Break point...

  9. 'Special times' for semi-finalist Anisimovapublished at 18:05 British Summer Time

    Anisimova 6-1 7-6 (11-9) Pavlyuchenkova

Amanda Anisimova spoke after her quarter-final victory against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova: "It was such a battle today. I was up in the second set and she started playing some unreal tennis. I just kept fighting and that tiebreak was super stressful, but I'm just so happy I got it done. I'm happy to be in the semi final for the first time, it's super special.

"This would not have been possible without my whole team. It was so tough in the tie-break and they were the ones that have instilled that in me. My sister and her husband are also here and I'm grateful that they flew in and got to experience this with me, it doesn't happen often.

"It has been an extraordinary year for me with so many highs. I am enjoying every step of the way and even in times like today, I keep reminding myself to enjoy the moment. It is not often you get to play on this special court in front of so many people. Thank you for the atmosphere, it was incredible!"

  10. 'It can come and go for Alcaraz'published at 18:02 British Summer Time

    Norrie 2-6 2-3 Alcaraz*

    Laura Robson
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

It can come and go so fast for Alcaraz.

One game you see him hit four winners and the next he loses his concentration for five minutes and it sees him go down this spiral where he overplays.

  11. Norrie holdspublished at 18:01 British Summer Time

    Norrie 2-6 2-3 Alcaraz*

Respite for Cam Norrie with his most straightforward hold for a while.

A fiery serve seals it with Carlos Alcaraz completely mistiming his forehand to the extend the ball plinks tamely off the rim.

For all Alcaraz's brilliance, there is still only one break in it in this set.

  12. Anisimova's young helperpublished at 18:00 British Summer Time

    Sonia Oxley

Anisimova has an extra guest with her on court and for her interview. She headed over to the corner of the court so that she could grab her young nephew Jackson, who is celebrating his birthday this week.

She holds his hand and walks across to the microphone in a moment that has got everyone on their feet. Just too cute.

  13. Alcaraz holds to lovepublished at 17:59 British Summer Time

    *Norrie 2-6 1-3 Alcaraz

Everything is clicking for Carlos Alcaraz.

He's offering Cam Norrie nothing with his serve, showing exceptional touch with his drop shots and hitting winners for fun off both wings.

There's not much you can do when your opponent is doing all of that as Norrie is finding out as we speak.

Henman Hill is rammed, glued to the screens in support of (mainly) Cameron Norrie.

But the Brit is having a tough time out there for now...

  15. Alcaraz breakspublished at 17:55 British Summer Time

    Norrie 2-6 1-2 Alcaraz*

Carlos Alcaraz strikes first in the second set.

On break point three, Cam Norrie makes the mistake of trying to beat the defending champion at his own game with a cheeky drop shot.

The problem is that Alcaraz is quick enough to get there, dink his own drop shot over the net and break when Norrie is unable to reach it.

She's done it! Phew. At the fourth attempt (and after saving five set points), Amanda Anisimova converts match point and is into her first Wimbledon semi-final.

  17. Norrie saves two break pointspublished at 17:53 British Summer Time

    *Norrie 2-6 1-1 Alcaraz

Cam Norrie's serve is so important, he needs to get his first serve in because Carlos Alcaraz is destroying his second.

The Brit has won just one of 12 points on his second serve so far, the latest of which sees Alcaraz bring up break point.

A brilliant drop shot, the Spaniard's second of the game, earns him another but this one is saved by a Norrie ace.

  18. Match point - Anisimovapublished at 17:53 British Summer Time

    *Anisimova 6-1 6-6 (10-9) Pavlyuchenkova

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova can't hold her serve. Match point.

  19. Match point savedpublished at 17:52 British Summer Time

Pavlyuchenkova saves match point. Both players scream.

  20. Match point - Anisimovapublished at 17:51 British Summer Time

    Anisimova 6-1 6-6 (9-8) Pavlyuchenkova*

What a time for a big serve! She saves a fifth set point and then brings up match point. Wow.
