Fight for every single ball - what a response from Jasmine Paolini.
We are starting to see a little more fun from Paolini, especially in this second set.
*Vekic 6-2 4-5 Paolini
Donna Vekic has Jasmine Paolini running forwards with a dropshot and backwards with a lob, before remarkably missing a simple smash at the net.
The Italian's refusal to give up on the point won her that and it's appreciated by the Centre Court crowd.
Paolini seals the game emphatically with an ace.
*Zielinski/Hsieh 5-4 J. Murray/Townsend
Taylor Townsend hits into the net and looks rather disappointed as a break point opportunity is missed.
Jan Zielinski's powerful forehand followed by another Townsend shot into the net gives the Australian Open champions the advantage in the first set.

Gasps all around when Jasmine Paolini completely misjudges a volley at the net and it flies long. But the crowd are cheering every successful shot from her, as are some Italian journalists close to me in the media seats.
Although the crowd want to see as long a match as possible, you can't take anything at all away from Donna Vekic, who has been absolutely superb.
Maybe she's not getting the love and the reactions her play has deserved. Her shot-making has been wonderful with 22 winners compared to only a dozen from Paolini.
But this set is still very much up for grabs.

Donna Vekic wants to hit it hard, she wants to be in charge and then if she is a little bit off and misses her shot, that's what Jasmine Paolini is hoping for now.

Every single point is golden and the joy Jasmine Paolini gets from each point underlines its value.

The Italian isn't playing her best tennis today but she's still in this and the Centre Court crowd are right behind her
Vekic 6-2 3-3 Paolini*
An ace from Jasmine Paolini brings another 'come on' from the Italian.
But a badly mistimed overhead smash brings Donna Vekic to 15-30 - where did that come from?
Paolini fights back to 40-30 before a huge Vekic forehand forces deuce.
Zielinski/Hsieh 4-3 J. Murray/Townsend*
Hsieh Su-wei holds on her serve, sealing the game with a brilliant ace which Jamie Murray is powerless to stop.
The seventh seeds are looking dominant once more.
Taylor Townsend and Jamie Murray looks rushed at points during this match while Jan Zielinski and Hsieh Su-wei are looking rather relaxed.

Paolini needs to find a way in changing the rhythm.
At the moment Vekic is so confident when she can step and hit the ball with so much power.
Vekic 6-2 3-3 Paolini*
That's more like the Donna Vekic we saw in the first set as she breezes through a hold to love.
Superb serving and little Jasmine Paolini could do about that.
*Vekic 6-2 2-3 Paolini
Another vital hold for Jasmine Paolini, followed by that fist pump celebration once more.
The Italian has had some good moments in this match plagued by inconsistency.
If she can build up some momentum you feel this set is there for the taking as Donna Vekic's level has dropped slightly.

The Centre Court crowd are doing everything they can to give Jasmine Paolini the boost she needs, with a huge roar coming when she saves a break point.
If she had lost that, it would have meant Vekic was a set and a break up with a clear path through to the final.
But Paolini, feeding off the energy, creates a game-point chance and then seals it with an important hold.
The earlier roar was nothing compared to what then followed with an even louder cheer of appreciation. Can Paolini build on that further?
Vekic 6-2 2-2 Paolini*
Another break point for Donna Vekic which she can't convert as a forehand goes wide.
Jasmine Paolini then puts a backhand too long for a second break point at deuce.

Zielinski/Hsieh 2-1 J. Murray/Townsend*
Taiwanese Hsieh Su-wei and Poland's Jan Zielinski knocked British pair Heather Watson and Joe Salisbury out of the mixed doubles in straight sets yesterday.
Briton Jamie Murray and his American partner Taylor Townsend will be looking to avoid the same fate today.
The seventh seeds take the first game before Murray and Townsend get on the board thanks to a clever volley from Murray.
Murray then hits into the net at 40-15 and Hsieh Su-wei hits a brilliant forehand to go 2-1 ahead in the first set.
*Vekic 6-2 1-2 Paolini
A lovely lob from Jasmine Paolini to take advantage of a drop shot - she's starting to counter that stroke from Donna Vekic now.
The Italian then wins a superb point, volleying at the net to force deuce after scampering around the court.
A Vekic double fault then brings Paolini her first break point..
