An ace from Jasmine Paolini spurs the crowd, but Donna Vekic steps into the net guide a magnificent forehand winner down the line.

At 30-30 Paolini then arrows a cross court forehand winner past Vekic, and that prompts that familiar fist pump.

A deep return from Vekic forces deuce.

At this stage in the match, a love hold gives you so much confidence for the next service game.

It is definitely a good confidence booster.

Jasmine Paolini seems to have lost a bit of that fire which helped her towards the end of the second set.

There are fewer 'come ons' and fist pumps coming from the Italian, even when she hits a winner.

A huge hold there from Jasmine Paolini, who would surely have been facing the end of the road if she had gone a double break down.

She still very much has the crowd's support, but Vekic has reset superbly after losing that second set.

You very much get the feeling that there's a lot more drama to come in this one though.

There's absolute no doubt who the majority of the crowd are cheering for as Jasmine Paolini, through sheer determination, guts and desire (as well as considerable talent) has forced this into a decider.

It looked like Donna Vekic would overpower her and move into the final, but, backed by probably 90% of support from the fans, the Italian has stayed in it, fought back and now battled her way through the set.

Now all the questions are how Vekic will respond? Who wins from here? No idea.
