Mirra Andreeva suggests that a shot called good for Belinda Bencic was long - it did look long on first glance - but Hawk-Eye confirms it was in.

We've had issues with the electronic line calling system at Wimbledon, so you can understand why Andreeva had doubts.

Andreeva moves on quickly from trailing 0-15 to win four successive points for the hold.

  5. Andreeva holdspublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 9 July

    Andreeva 4-4 Bencic*

Mirra Andreeva gave us an insight into the way she maintains focus in matches during her fourth round victory.

Andreeva said she wasn't paying attention to the score when she beat Emma Navarro and didn't even realise she had won the match until 10th seed came to the net to shake her hand.

If she is using that tactic again then it's working. A hold to 15 keeps us on serve in the opening set.

Oh that was a gimme by Liuidmila Samsonova with the double faults and she knew it. The crowd shared her frustration with some grumbles at giving up such a gift to Iga Swiatek. An easy break and it is hard not to see her going on and winning this pretty comfortably now.

You don't give a player of Swiatek's quality such an easy chance to go 3-0 up.

  16. 'Samsonova in freefall'published at 14:01 British Summer Time 9 July

Back-to-back double faults from Liudmila Samsonova, she's in freefall at the moment.

The weight of a first Grand Slam quarter-final is holding her down.

  17. Bencic holdspublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 9 July

Mirra Andreeva is a big fan of the drop shot but it's just not working for her at the moment.

For the third time in this match, Andreeva is short with her drop shot attempt and that hands over the hold.

At what point does she decide it's not quite coming off for her today?

  18. Swiatek breakspublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 9 July

    *Swiatek 6-2 2-0 Samsonova

Is this the beginning of the end?

Two consecutive double faults from Liudmila Samsonova gift Iga Swiatek a break of serve early in the second set.

Still a way to go but, at the moment, there looks like only one winner on Court One.

    Swiatek 6-2 1-0 Samsonova*

Iga Swiatek races 0-30 in front with two forehand winners - the second of them thanks to a very fortunate net cord.

A hand up in apology from Swiatek, more pressure on Liudmila Samsonova.

Make that 0-40 because of a double fault...

  20. Andreeva holdspublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 9 July

But, just as Mirra Andreeva did in her first service game, she takes a couple of successive points to get the hold.

A big round of applause from Andreeva's coach Conchita Martinez, who won the Wimbledon title in 1994.
