    That is some return from Jannik Sinner as he punishes a second serve from Novak Djokovic.

    The Serb can't do enough with a drop shot and it is some fantastic running from Sinner to get himself to 0-30.

    Djokovic produces two impressive serves to bring it level but a superb passing shot from the Italian brings up set point.

    But the Italian is having none of it.

    His first serve percentage is at 77% in this match so far and he is showing how valuable it is as hammers down three unreturnable serves.

    Djokovic gets the next back, but can't do enough in the rally and Sinner is one game away from a two-set lead.

    Not much that Novak Djokovic can do in this game as another ace flies by the Serb and Sinner holds to go 4-1 in front.

    A bit of serve volleying from the 24-time Grand Slam champion gets him to 40-0 as Jannik Sinner finds the net.

    The approach doesn't work this time as top seed Sinner hits a cross-court passing shot, but Djokovic comes out on top in the next rally and seals the hold.

    So much talk has been around this match being "it" for Novak Djokovic when it comes to securing that 25th Grand Slam.

    His favourite surface, his favourite arena.

    So far it's merely looking like a slog.
